Carolina Crazy that is true that basketball team has a good record against AC, but that's one game. the Price Twins have won more games the past two years than the basketball team has that's what is sad. If I am the AD I am asking the question as to how long do I give him to win some games before this guy is fired. With that being said, let's get back to what this forum is all about. I think CC wins this Friday in a close one.

Campbell County is fine. Carolina Crazy you must have confused CC Football with CC Basketball because the basketball coach they have is mediocre at best. I don't see them doing anything in that sport until he is gone. You have to look at it this way, they are pretty banged up right now. You got the QB out for idk how long. Patrick Strunk would have started on defense for them and probably played offense too and he is out for the year. You got that Bunch kid who started both sides of the ball last year out. Teams like Maryville and Alcoa can handle losing a few high caliber kids but someone like CC can't. AC had problems when they lost their QB last year. Things are going to happen that you can't control. I think 6 wins is makeable. The Gibbs game hurts because they should have won that one but to say they aren't that good on defense isn't very accurate. They gave up 6 against Gibbs on a 4th & goal from the 23 I believe that should have been knocked down. The other score was a blocked punt. Against Central they gave up really 14 points because one was a blocked punt and then Central tacked on 7 more with 20 something seconds to go in the game. I just don't think they are as bad as some let on. Yes it could be 3 wins or it could be 6 who knows. This is a very young team. You have all but one starter coming back on defense next year and offensively with the guys playing right now I am pretty sure all those guys will be back next year. A young team will take some hits, but will learn from them and get better as the season goes on.

Tom or Space may be able to answer this for me. What kind of team you think AC will have next year. I know you lose a lot but I didn't know what u had coming back

I don't think CC will be playing any Lynn Camp in the future. I did hear Gap said no. I would think they would want that game bc of it bein close to home and Have a good gate. I'm not sure of the schedule CC is playing. I think they have Oak Ridge last game of the year though.

Wherever he decides he wants to go. I'm not gonna make him go anywhere he don't want to go. Both schools have pros and cons in my opinion. I have friends associated with both. I hadn't talked to my source from AC but I know CC contacted Gillum about playing next year and he said no. Which AC might have a different story.

AC was the one that didn't want to play CC. I may not know much, but that I do know. It's a shame that's for sure. Loved watching that rivalry. Anyone that says CC didn't want to play AC is flat out lieing.

That is completely false. CC coaches want to play AC. I don't know who you talked to, but they told you wrong. I know that for a fact.

The thing is this isn't the first time this year someone has said we aren't playing them because of the way Norris plays. Once again this is a high school football thread. Fortunately I don't cheer for LaFollette or Norris so I don't read a whole lot into it. For the players mentioned inte paper, I don't see a problem mentioning kids by name. You should do it for doing good or bad.

I do not know details, but I heard their was over 100 yds in penalties and mostly by personal fouls.

I have become more of a cougar fan since I have read everything that has been going on. That midfield piece is so hilarious. Your going to go as at as that? Seriously. It's comical. I am laughing so hard and I would do the same thing if CC or any other school did that. So funny. AC is slowly going to become a laughing stock.

Don't get me wrong, Gillum is a great coach, but he couldn't do what the Price twins have done at CC. I think that's what bothers you AC erogant clowns. They are jealous that CC is now being successful and all the attention isn't down the road now. Get over yourself. I like AC, I truly do, but for you guys to sit back an act like you guys do is just classless. You guys have a great football team. CC has a great football team. It's gonna be a battle. To sit there and praise Gillum like that is just a plus crazy. Great coach, but you wouldn't be where you are today without Kerr. Show a little class.

I think both teams will be punting the ball some. This could either be low scoring on both sides or a shoot out. Either way it will be a good game I believe.

I think CC will field some punts this year. I know they fielded a few against the gap. Any time Torres or Elkins touches the ball it is a possibility they will take it to the house.

You AC guys talk about how hungry the Mavs are, do you guys not think CC is hungry as well? I think both teams are very hungry. I think it will be a great atmosphere. I personally could care less who wins at the middle school, this is a high school thread. With this whole Co-Champs thing, let it go Mav fans. I have not heard hog, crazy, or any other CC fan even mention it on this thread. You guys shouldn't care what a local CC radio station even says. Just like someone from CC shouldn't care what the Clinton Courier says in their paper. You wonder why people don't like you guys. You guys are so erogant for no reason. You guys have done nothing to be so erogant.

The more I think about this game I think as long as CC doesn't stumble out of the gate and get behind early like last year that they will prevail in a close one. I am taking the Cougs by 6

I'm asking a sincere question Mav4life so don't throw off on me. How do you feel you guys will be next year. I know losing hicks and your line is going to hurt but heard the Johnson kid is pretty good. Just curious. As far as CC being the favorite I don't know bout that. Would love for both teams to be 1 and 2

I hope AC does good I really do and I think this AC/CC rivalry is great. It needed to be started. As far as stink goes, u think bc a student section paints co champs on their chest it's a stink? Come on man grow up. Your administration and stuff was acting like a bunch of teenagers on twitter because of all of this. Seriously? The fact that I would still consider sending my kid to AC after that should tell you how much I think of AC. You don't have many CC kids now I will give you that but to say you are winning with AC kids is a different story. You are winning with transfers. Only reason I said anything bout fireworks was because someone asked who had fireworks first. I was just answering the question. For the co champ I'm not of the years right off top of my head but I will look into it. I don't want to mention the wrong year on accident. I'm not biased. Only thing is you don't see anyone making a big stink about it. Get over it move on already. It's over it's done. This thread is about CC Football 2014!! Not about co champs. I have a kid at the middle school level that I'm not forcing him either way. If he wants to go to AC then he is more than welcome to. Same as AC. I personally think AC people are getting a lil worried because that pipeline from jacksboro to AC is shut down now.

First off its a bunch of garbage what everyone is fussing about. Be happy for the kids. Myself don't favor either team really. Both teams I feel both have pros and cons. As far as fireworks go? CC was the first ones to have fireworks. They had fireworks when Wells was there, they just stopped doing them toward the end of his tenure. So there is that. The co-champ thing. Two things I have to say about it. AC had a great year no doubt about it, but if they would've took care of business against Powell we wouldn't even have this discussion. As a coach you have to do what's best for your team and that's probably what CC did. Does AC have an argument? Possibly, but as a Lake City resident I know for a fact that AC has in fact in the past claimed co-champs before in a sport. May not have been football but in a sport for sure. Last thing as far as champs go. I seen the hats AC had on. They said District 5A, we are District 3-AAA. So I'm sure CC will let them claim District 5A and CC will claim District 3-AAA
