  1. Do you know who's coaching the MS boys team this year?
  2. Any idea who's coaching the MS boys team this year?
  3. I understand that kids want to play if they can, but Howell's shoulder could be injured again playing basketball and that could wipe out his hope for an injury-free senior season of football next year. I think he should rehab and strengthen his shoulder for football during the winter and forego basketball. He said it was "killing him" after the alcoa championship game. I really think his football and basketball coaches should talk with him about realistic goals and expectations. Great kid. Hate to see him miss out on his opportunity for a college ride.
  4. What happened to Spann? If Howell plays basketball this year, he may never play football again.
  5. Exactly. Just like Western Union you never get the friggin message.
  6. It's the one thing that alcoa can't stand....to have their precious championships questioned. You've spent so much time building a dynasty at any cost to convince yourselves that you're worthy of something, anything, that you've missed the entire point altogether.
  7. That's what I thought. Indefensible. You can't raise an argument to defend your school. Other than "it's a Blount Co. thing"....READ: we'll take any stud football player from any county in the state for $600. You should call yourself jokeur.
  8. No idea what it takes?? Apparently, it takes 36% mercenaries. It's statistically impossible to win championships over a 3+ decade period with the small population sample of alcoa city. If I told you that Maplewood had won 13 state titles and their student body was comprised of 36% OOZ kids, you would think the same thing. Every program has down years, even the great ones. But not alcoa. Why is alcoa immune to the natural troughs in production and talent? Why wouldn't you welcome the opportunity to play up in 4A? Isn't that the next progression - move up? There's obviously no competition for you in 3A.
  9. That's what I said and then everybody got all... you know...
  10. http://www.thedailytimes.com/Local_News/story/Alcoa-officials-pitch-new-high-school-id-020068
  11. That's just it, genius. No body over here cares. You play the season and when it's over life goes on. But not with you. You're obsessed with it. Haven't you ever won anything?? If so, act like it. If not, go fish.
  12. The dumb alcoa poster doth protest too much methinks. HAhahahahaha
  13. Hate on hater. It would be ok if you won your little gold balls with your Knox county talent, but that's not enough for you. Nope. You have to get on here and rub people's faces in it. THAT'S what people hate. Just take your little balls and have fun. Hey, they're at least 64% earned.
  14. You're over cap. because 36% of your student body is from OUTSIDE alcoa. No body buys your crap. It's all lies. It's statistically impossible with the population of alcoa to win for 3 decades and 13 championships with 600 kids. Nobody buys it. Your championships are tainted.
  15. There is NO diff, but they want you to think there is. If it ever got out that half their team is OOZ, then that would mean their little championships won by their little players are worthless.
  16. You're tripping. I never made a prediction on any game. You're just a whinningtit cry baby who can't stand it when somebody throws a rock at ya. It's fun to watch. Man up and take the criticism. Don't sling it if you can't take it. It's just HS football. You act like the world is coming to an end. And one other thing. You think I'm Hockadey, but I'm not. He's aware of you however. Why would you bring someone else's kid onto a public message board?? Why would you bring anybody's kid onto a message board? You're a classless loser. Keep it up Chump. When he slaps you and this website with a C&D order, you'll see how much in over your head you've gotten. Then we'll all know who's who here. LOL!!!!
  17. It's just a hypothetical question. I wouldn't advocate that. In 2012, Aloca HS had an enrollement of 536 total students. Of those 536 students, 193 or 36% were out of zone students. That's a very high percentage. How many of those 193 played on the football team? Remember, it only takes one or two to make a big impact, especially in HS. You can see how outsiders look at alcoa's dominance in football over the past several decades coupled with OOZ student numbers like that and wonder, can't you?
  18. No, it wouldn't be fair for the student. I was trying to address his point that if there's no advantage to the athletic programs of open zoned schools, then you won't miss those athletes if they are taken away. We keep hearing "level the playing field" in HS athletics. So, do you apply the 1.8 multiplier to open zoned schools to avoid penalizing the kid?
  19. Then you would have no problem with discontinuing the practice of allowing OOZ students to play sports. Correct?
