  1. Brown will get his yards and tds tomorrow no doubt...the question is...will it be enough? Camden D better step up...I know Waverly D will be aggressive..and the offense...well they score a lot of points.
  2. Well we know they played better football last year....don't even get me started on basketball....
  3. Say what you want...Waverly showed up and played and beat a good Camden team fair and square. Yea they dropped 2 games. So what. 1-9 to 9-3. Big change. Nobody predicted it. Waverly is on the rise. They will be ready Friday to shut you Lion fans up. I'm sure next year it will be...well Waverly only beat Camden twice in 12 years...oh and thanks for the coach compliment.
  4. Is it Friday yet? Ready to see this game!
  5. That was sarcasim in my post. Guess you didn't catch that. Friday can't get here soon enough. Ready to see these two battle!!
  6. I'm sure Camden going to the "spread" is just a diversion. If they line up and try to pass the ball all night against Waverly I will seriously laugh. Truth is Camden will probably line up in the good old wing t and run their same 5 plays over and over. Just don't see them being a passing team nor do I think their capable. If I was Blow I'd run Brown every snap.
  7. Through the first 8 weeks of season. Check the Tennessean. Or coach t. Whatever. Look at the scores and points allowed through first 8 games. Doesn't mean anything. Just making a point.
  8. Won't have any. Waverly will win. Just wait and see.
  9. Your right Beagle...you weren't comparing him to Zimmerman....
  10. Beagle did. I say high scoring game 42-28 Waverly
  11. Dang chief...they not teach you how to read in Camden...quite certain what I said was nothing near stopping brown. Brown will get his 200-250. Pop a couple of TDs. Still won't match up the 400-500 yard offense of the Tigers. Without Brown Camden is nobody. Truth be told.
  12. Waverly has an OUTSTANDING Freshman at QB...you don't see us saying he is better or comparing him to Zimmerman. That's Camden folk for ya. They finally have someone who resembles a QB on their team and now he is just as good as or better than Zimmerman!? Makes me question some of these Camdenites football knowledge.
  13. Last I remember he didn't score enough to win the game...but I guess your going to blame that on your defense...the defense you Camden folk claims to be the best? Quite certain Waverly was ranked in top 10 in offense and defense last season. All kinds of comments and excuses...always something with you Camden folk. Can't wait to see Camdens excuses after Friday night.
  14. Tough to stop him. Waverly did just enough last year. They couldn't stop us. Doubt they can stop the offense of Waverly again this year...and that Tiger D is looking better this fall than last year.
  15. Folks in Waverly are confident. They will show up and take care of business. Last year Waverly had something to prove...and proved it...this year is just business. The doubters will see this Friday night...should be a packed house.
  16. LOL. Waverly wins. Another year of disappointed Camdenites. I love their confidence though.
  17. Yea too quick...game was over in like an hour and a half. McEwen milked the clock.... Waverly only got to run like 3 series with first team.
  18. Sure is quiet in the region! 10 days til kickoff!!!
  19. Perhaps it was magic. Better hope Camden still has some magic up their sleeves on the 21st.
  20. You may think that's funny. I think it's smart. Just shows how dedicated Waverly's Coaching staff is. They want to win. And they will out work anyone. I seen Camden coaches at Waverly/Bruceton scrimmage last season so don't act like its a bad thing.
  21. Waverly looked good tonight against Wayne Co & Union City. I think they scored 10 TDs by 8 different players. I believe the Defense held Wayne County scoreless and gave up 4 TDs to Union City. But Waverly scored 6-7 on them. Waverly played tough. Impressive. Excited to see them in action again.
  22. Senior Devin Palk - Waverly Junior year in 3A - Selected All State 1700 all purpose yards 32 Touchdowns Also Veteran Waverly Offensive Line Returning this year. Palk should have a good year. Fast, Great Cuts, Tough.
