  1. Letters were sent, petitions signed and sent and a ton of phone calls made to the TSSAA and officials attended meetings in opposition. The fact is they were not listening and directly commented, "We could care less about Warren and Coffee County"
  2. I own property and homes and pay taxes in Warren Co and will comment as muchas I feel necessary. And as far as coming back to play any sport, you don't have to worry, he's smart enough to not make that decision. And it was his decision not mine or yours for that matter. Your rumors are incorrect as usual. I will support my children and their decisions at all costs. And for your information, there was not a kid on that football team that didn't encourage him to make the move, They supported and encouraged him and half his WC friends have attended his games this season. Nearly the entire group he played with were at his game during their off week. As for the rest of your comments, you can call me and we can discuss specifics. I refuse to talk to an unknown chicken hiding behind a code name. And personally, 6-2 and #10 in the state and a 4.75 GPA.... I think it has been a brilliant move on his part! The only regret I have is not making the move 6 years ago.
  3. It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Go play the game, get the players back to school at 2:00 am and then require them to drive home and hope they get home safely--- what does anyone gain from that? What about that scenario is in the best interest of the student athlete? I say you play the game and send the TSSAA a bill for expenses.
  4. Please enlighten me and tell me what the qb's dad that left did as trouble maker? I'd like to know what that is please? In detail, tell me and those on this thread what those things are??
  5. His decision not his daddy's and I will support him. If it was for money he would be at one of the two private schools in Nashville.
  6. He will be a senior and he's not coming back so no need to worry. The only regret all of us have is not making this move 7 years ago.
  7. I've been on here 2 times in my 50 years of life and again I was advised by someone in public to waste another few minutes of my time and clear up untruths about my family members. I have no time or desire to read or participate in such ignorant, useless, incompetent conversation by jealous idiots who have nothing better to do. As in the past, if I ever have anything to say here or anywhere else I will do so under my name and not hide behind some cowardly cover name as many on here have. No member of my family is on here talking as we have more productive things to do like attending and being active in the booster club, raising money so these boys can have food, uniforms and whatever else is needed and painting the lines, numbers and logos on the football field. I would encourage all possible to do the same. No one involved with this football program will ever apologize for working hard to be better and increase our chances for a winning program. For those who have have been so gracious to be positive with calls, texts and comments, we appreciate your thoughts.
  8. I've never been on here but once in my life and it was in defense of my daughter when she was a freshman basketball player and there was a lot of untruths and bashing of her going on then just as there is now. Well, I'm back and unlike many of you, I'm not hiding behind some name so you won't know who I am. First of all, Cotten is dating my daughter and I have zero problem with it. She is 20 years old and is 2 years removed from high school which makes her 100% an adult and she's totally capable of making her own decisions and so far this has been a good one. I consider myself fortunate that she didn't choose to associate with any of you gossiping, coward losers hiding behind a code name with nothing better to do than tear down the few people who are trying to do things right in this county and are ridiculed for being overachievers. As for the rising Jr quarterback, he also lives in my house and will not get a second of playing time unless he deserves it and puts in the work and earns it, regardless of who the coach is. Contrary to popular belief, we don't operate that way. As a matter of fact, being close to the coaching staff can have an adverse effect on playing time as evidenced by the past year's football season. As for the next coach, you all will know soon enough and you can rest assured there is big change coming like nothing you've ever seen in this county. I hope you bandwagon supporters are ready for what's ahead. It is about to get seriously fun in WC again and I can't wait!
