Municipal is an outdated dump with horrible parking and traffic. Events that Municipal books are simply because Bridgestone is too expensive, too booked, too big, or Bridgestone management didn't want them there. Just because there are events in Municipal doesnt mean Municipal is a good facility. They are for Bridgestone rejects and overflow. Nashville is a great location, Municipal is not.

There is a reason Municipal Auditorium is called "Miserable Auditorium" by locals. It is dark, dingy, smells, horrible traffic flow through the area, and has no parking. This is a worse option than the Ag Center in Williamson County. But if you like honky tonks to drop in to between matches, Municipal is a great location. It could be fun (in a bad way) with a mix of the already rabid (in a good way) wrestling fans and alcohol.

You should not have revived this thread on this particular matter. That is the only thing that I am aware that you have done that was foolish. End of discussion.

vmp, you are foolish to bring this back up. Please show me where I identified, attacked, maligned any kid. You cannot. If the descriptor of "average" made you think of your kid then that is on you. I cannot think of how average is an insult other than you carry a higher opinion, so it becomes an insult when the opinions differ. If the descriptor of "hothead" made you think of yourself, then you should take a good long look in the mirror. It is somewhat revealing that you think you are the hothead with the average wrestler being referred to. You actually were not. Centennial had a few that would be described this way. Rest well. My mistake, I thought we were talking about individual, not duals. I'm not sure how you would ever avoid your scenario in duals.

The seeding issues need to be addressed, that is for sure, but the eventual state champ will beat whoever is put in front of him. You have to beat the best to be the best. Other than wanting bragging rights of being a placer but not a champ, it doesn't matter all that much. The cream rises.

It depends on how hard he works, how much he studies and internalizes what he is taught, and his natural athletic ability. Going to camps in and of itself doesn't guarantee improvement.

Unfortunately it invites spineless loudmouths to air their grievances in an inappropriate forum instead of being an adult and going and talking to a coach face to face and keeping program issues within the confines and privacy of the program. Anonymously airing dirty laundry is completely in bad taste and ultimately is cowardly behavior that reflects poorly on programs that should be supported more appropriately. Anyone disagree with that?

Did I name the specific child or parent? Do you want me to? Or is their poor behavior so well known that all I had to say was the hothead parent and everyone know who it is? And I do know who you are, and I did not attack you or your kid, only your behavior; classless and spineless. And just for the record, the same type of person that would stab a coach in the back with anonymous complaints would lie about their true identity on coacht and deny it when they have been caught hiding behind a message board ID. Call your anonymous complaint an act of an adult all you want, but it does not make it so. Backtracking now on your part won't change it at all, hothead.

So you are saying that if there are still some kids sick, but the the team wrestles, you are going to cause problems? You are on thin ice. Surely you must realize how identifiable you are. There were only a few healthy/uninjured kids. Only one has a parent that is a known hothead that would do something as immature as get on here and make the coach and team look bad because his mediocre wrestling kid didn't get to wrestle this weekend and then go on to claim the situation would get sticky if others get sick. If you want to coach, go coach somewhere and coach. Otherwise, try to support the guy doing the job, not stab him in the back anonymously on a message board and make the entire program look bad.
