  1. Yeah right!!! Oak Ridge is going to bring the gold ball home for the east. I have a feeling that they will go all the way. thumb
  2. Well, I think the white jersey is a good and bad idea. One time, we had an away game and we wore dark blue. The other team wore black. That was one of the worst things that could've happened, because everybody was passing the ball to the wrong team and the officials were getting confused on who to call the calls on. On the other hand teams that do not have white jerseys, will have to buy them. Sometimes that can get expensive for schools that do not have much money. But, yes that is the new rule coming up.
  3. That Clinton/Oak Ridge game will be a good one, but I believe that it will be Oak Ridge by 6. I agree with PUCKERUP on that Halls is very good gaurd oriented and that Powell has a good post and great ball handlers. I also think that Powell will come out on top, but only by three.
  4. Can anyone tell me what happened to Campbell County this season? Maybe we can figure out what to fix. Is it the coach or just the team? Email me at ccwaterboy@yahoo.com
  5. Well, I think CC is still going to be there whether any one else does or not. If they don't beat Who ever they play next, you can bet they will make a game out of it. Even though, their boys have been put out, whatch out for the girls. They will be sure to show up when they have to. With Nancy Reynolds and Jessica Byrge outside the arch, and Alexa Silcox and Sierra Jessie under the goal, you can bet they will give you a run. The other night CC girls beat Clinton 88-52 (correct me if I'm wrong) with Alexa Sicox with twenty points on the night. Coach Chapman and Coach Browning have done a real good job with these girls. Another good thing for the CC girls, is that they lose no one after this season. We will only gain more 8th graders. Many good girls such as Meagan Chapman, Lakean Wilson, Elizabeth Shepard, and Courtney Williams. They stand a good job of being #1 next season. thumb thumb
  6. CC girls are still in the running, although not for the championship, they do have a chance for a good spot. Powell beat them last night 60-36. They did play their hearts out although they lost. Jamie Byrge, one of the key freshman starters, has been benched with a torn ACL against Halls back during a season game. Although the other freshman starter ,Chelsey Jenkins, has stepped up, CC still misses a key 3 point shooter.
  7. CC only lost Matt Housley, Josh Allen, Curtis Taylor, Jeremy Overbay ,and Keagen Silcox. Don't count CC out of next years running. They have alot of very talented 8th graders coming up and they even kept Cody Parker and Brandon Berry which were two key starters in this years season. They will also have Corey Chapman, a freshman this year to come off the bench and most likely start in the 05-06 season. If not next year, year after next, the Cougars will have a winning season, something we haven't seen in a while.
