  1. Congrats to this young lady. I think she is the best 2015 player in the Knoxville area, hands down and she deserves a bunch of credit. I have seen numerous teams try to guard this girl for several years and not much works. She is a joy to watch and I wish my daughter could play with her at CAK and that entire team this year. Good luck on your journey to state.
  2. I'm sure how their respective teams finished played a part, but you can't discount Heitzman from CAK or Thomas and Knight from Heritage. We play in Heritages district and have seen those 2 play enough to tell that they deserve consideration.
  3. I wouldn't out to much into what 1 guy thinks. If your not in his "group", then your probably not going to get the recognition you deserve. Also, stats are not a criteria by looking at some of the girls that made the 3 prep teams. I thought some girls from Heritage, CAK (other than the 1), Powell, and Grace would have been on there, but what do I know.
  4. I'm not sure about D1 players that were left off, but there were several D2 players that were left off that I thought should have been invited. But oh well. No big deal, just curious.
  5. I love all the girls from the east that were picked. ... No wait. ....
  6. I'm just curious if signed 2014 girls have somewhere to play over the summer, or is that up to the particular college they have signed with? Any and all info on this is much appreciated. Thank you.
  7. I Agree and I think Hardin Valley only graduates 1 starter, so they could move into that 4 spot. District 3 graduates alot of their better players (Powell, Anderson County, and Halls) so it should be a district 4 sweep again next year. Tomorrow, Maryville beats Farragut, and Friday Maryville beats Jeff. Co. and Farragut beats Morristown West. Good luck district 4.
  8. I'm sure the doctors play a big party in the release of an athlete after a concussion. Not sure if she has had a great year or not, but the team looks as if they have according to their record. If she has played her last game, that really is ashame for her or any athlete in that circumstance.
  9. It does say she is a senior, but it doesn't say if she is totally out for the year with the concussion.
  10. According to the paper, Powell had lost their post player for tonight, but they still have a real good shooting guard. I think Maryville will have too much talent and will win by 10. Bearden will have very little trouble, if any with Halls and should win by 25. Farragut will win by...... Pick a number If Heritage can break the zone that Anderson defends with, they shouldn't have any trouble with Anderson County, although Anderson County can get hot from the outside. Heritage is too good in this one and should win by 15.
  11. Looking at the district tournament outcomes, it looks real good for another district 4 championship. Does anyone know if Powell or Anderson County has anything to offer?
  12. Thomas (Fulton) , Coker (Powell) , Cummings (Anderson County) , Newman or Shields (Alcoa).
  13. I like Farragut and Maryville to come out of region with Bearden and Powell close behind. But that is why you play them on the court and not on paper.
  14. Can Bearden, Powell, Heritage, or Hardin Valley challenge Farragut and Maryville for that region? The competition should be good.
