I think MCM is the best team but Dekalb and Upperman are very close. 1.MCM 2. Upperman 3. Dekalb 4. LA 5. Cannon Co 6. York 7. SC 8 MC The top three could go to anyone of those and 4 thru 8 is up for grabs. The district is very Competitive and it will come down to the team that gets on a roll.

I think Clarkrange and Jackson County are the top teams in the district this year. 1. Jackson Co 2. Clarkrange 3. Monterey 4. Clay Co Not sure if Pickett is going to have a team this year.

I was told that the coaches had a meeting and that all the games are to be played by Friday and the district turnery starts on Saturday. This will make it a little interesting if the top seeds use up some of their pitching.

It is the home teams responsibility to have the field ready to play. All teams are to play each other twice. hopefully they can get the games in today

Congratulations to clarkrange for winning the district tonight by beating pickett county twice.

Clarkrange is very young and playing a weaker schedule will give the younger players some confidence. This weekend they are at Know West and will see good teams that will help them get ready for the district tournament

At the beginning of this week MCM was 7-1, Upperman was 6-2 and DeKalb 5-3 Now with Upperman splitting with LA and DeKalb losing one to Macon Co MCM is now firmly in the drives seat Was surprised to see York sweep Smith County

I am pulling for Clarkrange to do well, but the fact is that the 12 wins are all against teams with losing records.

Upperman needs to take care of Livingston and then it may come down the final week when MCM and DeKalb play.

Only three more weeks of district play with MCM, Upperman and DeKalb all having a shot at the title. Looking forward to see if any one can get on a roll going into the tournament.

Clarkrange has a big game with Pickett on Tuesday if they can take both games they will have the district all wrapped up.

It is always easy to smile when your winning. Not to many smiles after losing to York 8 to 0 with only one infield hit. I would say York dominated today. Then York got beat by Oneida in the championship game. 11 to 3. Pickett County look weak this weekend. Did not see anyone on that team that was throwing over 80. Red Bowling Springs played with a lot of heart and look way better than their recorded shows.

Glad to see the kid for Pickett play well. The move down to 7A has really helped him

I still believe that Jackson County will win the distrcit with Clarkrange second. It looks like Pickett may be a wash out heard that their coach stepped down last week. Don't know whats going on there.

Wow, after the first two week it looks like the district may be as close from top to botton as it has been in a long time. Which makes for some good baseball. Looking forward to the next couple of week to see how things shake out. Lot of low scoreing games it may come down to who swings the bats the best which could favor LA. Most of the teams are pitching well and playing good defence just not swing the bats except for maybe York who has had problems fielding the ball.

I saw York bounced back after losing to Clarkrange to beat Onieda 6 to 5. Livingston beat an improved Stone team. LA may be the surprise team this year. Upperman will be much better when they get the kids who are still in basketball don't know if they will be much help next week against Cannon County will take them a few days.

Yeah I would love to see upperman and sparta play today should be a good game.

I am just say pull for your team and not against the other. I know a lot of the Kids in the district and want to see them all do well. I don't think there is anymore ego's on one team more than any other. Now as far as parents it doesn't matter what game you go to, they all think thier little johnny is the best play on the team. Like I said I would like to hear how all of the teams in 8AA are doing and who is playing well

Clarkrange opens with York tomorrow. Can't wait to get this season started. Does anyone know who the other teams open with. I think Monterey is at Livingston.
