Maybe not the ones you mentioned but Brent Bush that would be excellent,however don't see him leaving his high paying position at FB to coach little old CHS.But he would be a great coach.Webb is retiring,which is fine the team will go on. Now as for the assistants I don't think any of them are teachers.But who knows.

Okay so watched crange coach break bats tonight in rbs. This guys team wins district last night and gets host next week. So in a meaningless game your throwing stuff and breaking things.What a role model. If you was a parent they would had us removed.

Swanson Clay County kid is solid,but Clarkranges sophomore throws harder than him and threw a no hitter against clay and lost. Their coach spends all his time worrying about what field looks like instead of what's going on it seems like.As for the two sophomore they are legit low 80" s. Both are 6'4" plus with tons of velocity gains coming soon.Should be interesting district tourney can't wait see Jackson play.

Sophomore Parker kid threw a no hitter last night in a 2-1 loss. Clarkrange has pitching go deep the two boys thrown this week are outstanding. But here is the kicker . The defense keeps popping up weaknesses all over.Catcher last for Clarkrange had a very weak night at plate but kudos to young man on hill he had a 9-10 strikeout night against a good Clay county team. One of those two teams will be your district champs.I love Looper to death but he hasn't got talent level those two teams has.Clarkrange spend rest week in the cages are hitting off of live pitching.

Then two costly errors later they lost 9-8. Heartbreaker for sure. Move on boys you showed that you can play with any school. Big game today step up. We know you boys will.

Okay leave rain ,super excited see Clarkrange boys take field on Tuesday. They have worked all fall and winter in order to get on the field. Win or lose best of luck to both teams.

Logan Beaty is senior and is good at both sports,and a 10 the grade kid named Steven Henderson who is a good baseball player. Not got see him play basketball.

Clarkrange is loaded,just seen their schedule playing strongest in school history. 7-8 really good ball players.Will be fun team to watch for sure.They only have two kids in basketball so most of them have had time to really focus on baseball.

Okay Chs you have had a real good season but its not over yet. Being the underdog is good. Coaches shift your infield around.This team hits up middle a lot more than anywhere else. You are weak in the middle errors there Monday will cost you dearly.You have to play really good ball. Hitters hit the dam ball this is it win or go home.Have a goal don't be the one to strikevout . Coaches remember you are coaching best team you have had. And they are all 9-10 th graders and few juniors.The game is won are lost on the practice field.So its meaningless to kick and throw stuff.Remember that and go to Gordonsville pull an upsey . If you don't so what. What a season those young boys have had.

Well Chs is at 22 wins on the season. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that is a school record. Looked a little off defensively with 4-5 errors. From same positions that's been weak all year but made up for it with their bats. Big junior young man hit one half way to Crossville.Lol. 54 had a good outing an 55 came in an finished it off with very strong arm.Good job guys buckle up defense can't do that tomorrow night.

Let's get through this week first. Then worry about regions. They are good bunch of boys swinging bats well.

Clarkrange boys 20-10 going into tourney time. They have a chance to do two things for their school that has not been done.Finish season with 22 wins and win a district championship. They have already accomplished a whole lot by hosting the tourney.They are the number one seed going in. These young men are swinging the bats very well. I know they have exceeded my expectations as well as the coaches and fans. Good luck and we all look forward to watching you all for next three years. Congrats to the two seniors you are good young men and best of luck to you.

Congrats CHS for number one seed and 18-10 record going into tourney. Pickett's senior pitchers done excellent but Chs just crushed the ball. They both where exciting games and both teams hit well. Chs just hit more often. Neither team had nothing to regret.Good luck to all.

Clarkrange played Knox west three times and Livingston twice this weekend just to get ready for tournament time. Few players responded to the better pitching and by fourth game had 7-8 hits and 11 in last game losing 6-5 on error. So they are doing the necessary things to get ready. Record is now 13-10. With 3 games against AAA schools and 5 against AA schools just to prepare.

Sorry but you can't take anything away from the Chs team. I'm thinking they have posted over a 100 runs in 17 games. That's swinging the bats no matter who you are playing. Good luck to everyone in next couple weeks.

But yes York did play lot better than Chs today for sure.

Everyone still smiling. Its just a game coaches only ones not smiling. Fact of the matter didn't see any kids much over 80.

Clarkrange bounced back strong 13-0. Both pitchers looked strong.Big freshman 55 finished it off with very good stuff.Tall lefty that started on hill looked good also.Bottom of lineup hit the ball. That could spell trouble for rest of 7a. They have 3-4 games this weekend. Hitting ball hard not just contact. Playing as a team.Seen smiles all around.Looked just like the team that dominated York a few weeks ago. Keep it up players and coaches.

10-1, Meigs hit ball well and often.Their pitching was just average. Chs just was not swinging very well. Like I said earlier, in their defense where worn out.

Clarkrange looked tired and worn out today against Meigs County. Players reported to field at 9:30 am. Did not play until 3. But can't win ballgame with three base hits anyways.Meigs had ton of hits not sure exact number.
