  1. Hampton still going to play tomorrow? They went ahead and moved 3's to Sat.
  2. I am not going to post anything but praises for our Tigers...These kids are giving a 110%. Great game at Central and Grace. The past years in Meigs have been rough. Playoffs or not we should all be proud of our Tigers you boys are doing an outstanding job. I've been a fan for a long time and the improvements since last year are unbelievable. No negativity here keep up the hard work guys and GO TIGERS!!!!
  3. I agree....100% Hampton was in a tough bracket. A team that plays like Mitchell did is hard to come by in the district and region where we play.
  4. Well put pujo...I'm looking forward to seeing both teams next season.
  5. For the record Meigs didn't go to OT with SG.
  6. We had to beat Grace 4 times so I know all to well I've followed Hampton close all season I used to be a Bulldog so I always keep up with them. When Meigs beat Grace for the region it was the closest score we'd had with them this season. A team you've played 4 times becomes tough to beat. I was getting updates from freinds and family during the GCA HHS sub state game. Good to see schools like Meigs and Hampton make it as far as they did. Even better for me since I have ties to both schools. I was Meigs only loses Levi Woods .
  7. I'd like to say congrats to Mitchell on the gold ball. What a team!!! Meigs was privileged to be able to attend the state tourney for the first time in 27 years. Even if according to some folks here on coach T "we got ran out of the gym". I suppose in the eyes of many Meigs didn't deserve to be there but we here in our small county are still proud of these boys they had a good season. To the Hampton fans that feel some how cheated because Meigs made it to the championship game. I'd like to say when y'all were playing I was in the stands cheering you on. Ned is a great coach and you all had a great team. I'm not here to talk trash. Just tired of all the negativity . Mitchell had a GREAT team and earned the win. So I'd like to congratulate all the teams that played at the tourney. Good Luck to all next season.
  8. His dad is Ronnie Woods. Not sure if Wilson was his cousin but they both played at Meigs at the same time in the 80s.
  9. I'm not making a pick. Just want to say we here in Meigs are very proud our Tigers have the privilege to be at the state tourney. Meigs has some very talented young men this year. So don't count them out. W or L all these boys have made their families and county very proud. Good Luck to all the teams.
  10. I'm pretty sure it was held by someone else. However, he was the first to score 2,000 points since his dad did it.
  11. As a former bulldog but current resident of Meigs county I want to good luck dawgs beat those rams. GCA played us 4 times seemed to get better every time. Region game was a real barn burner GCA #22 and #11 are good. A lot of fouling during the district and region game. SG played strong last night give the Meigs boys a run for their money. Reality check for what is in store at the state touney . History was made in Meigs last night Wood's broke the all time scoring record for the school and the substate win put both boys and girls going to state together for the first time ever. GO DAWGS!!!!! going to be ready to watch y'all in M'boro
