I also like GREENEVILLES STADIUM a lot.The way they have the hedges around the field and the turf its another good one.

SHill would be a good one,But whoever decited to put the LIGHT POLES on the visitor side didn't know what they were doing,Cause when youre setting up top of the stands in the middle the poles cut off about 10 yards from the 20 to the 10.And depending on were youre setting it goes to the endzone too.With the up grades to J FRED in Kingsport,DB will be up around the top if not the top stadium.

se DB going 8-2 or 7-3 at worst and making to the 2nd round of the playoffs before there put out.Another good yr but nothing to write home about.And MARYVILLE WINS ANOTHER STATE TITLE.Its just SAD!!!..When is the rest of the STATE going to step up and make it HARDER and not so EASY for them to win it YEAR after YEAR?

BATMAN,I understand DB didn't want to be in this CONF.But they are and have about 5 to 6 games to add DEPTH.And to the other folks making comments,I for one am not putting down coach clark and his staff and know that it could be worse.But theres a time when you have to step back and look at the big picture,I understand MARYVILLE is on another level than most if not all of the other 6A schools.But theres no reason why they should be running over everyone like they do and only get tested in the title game and sometimes vs Alcoa.I think a lot of it is mind wise.Other teams are beaten by MARYVILLE before they even play the game.I think with the talent in Kingsport that DB can be on there level easy.You have schools like SOUTH and NORTH and a lot of there players don't want to play or go to DB because of playing time.Thats were DEPTH comes in.Make DB a place were players and students want to come play and be part of a top notch program.If that means getting another head coach or coaches then make it happen.DB has had some teams that were more than able to win a state title.And NO its not about STATE TITLES,But when youre going 10-0 and 9-1 year after year then you need to look at the coaching.And ask what are they doing or not doing.Its not about STATE TITLES but in the end it is.When youre having teams that can do it.Its hard for me to believe that the talent in Blount county is that much better than Sullivan county.DB has the fanebase and the support from the community.There playing in a top notch stadium and has a college like band and a A+ fanebase that travels very well.All the pieces are there to bring STATE TITLES back to Kingsport.SO when do you start holding the coaching staff accountable?Cause to me,thats the only thing I see and the reason why there not bring STATE TITLES homes.Clark can have a 200-20 overall record,But if most of his wins are vs sub par teams and he is 5-20 vs the taems like Maryville and other good teams,Then to men it looks like his overall record is tainted alittle.Hes suppost to beat the SCentrals,DBoone,DCrockett,SSouth,SHill,THigh,Volunteer,But weres the wins vs MARYVILLE and other top schools.Thats were they fall short.Theres a time were you have to have CHANGE.And if he loves DB so much then he needs to step back and maybe step down and let someone else give it a try.Its a chance you take,But it would be hard for me to believe that if he steped down that the DB program would just fall apart.And if it did then id be the first to say it was never a TRUE TOP NOTCH PROGRAM anyway.Kingsport and Sullivan County has to many good players for me to think that would happen.Alot of it is no one wants to see him gone,Hes a great person and has some of the best one liners ive ever seen.But he has to be held accountable sometime or another.DB did have a program before he was hired didn't he.Clark should know that new blood is needed and something or someone to jump start this program.Cause I think Carter at SHill has beaten DB and Clark now and know they can do it and what it takes.Hes going to leave one day any how,he should do it soon and save face instead of putting DB behind the 8 ball.Again this is what I think agree or disagree.

Just wanted to post how much RESPECT I have for GREENEVILLE FOOTBALL!!! The coaches have got it together and have those kids playing at a high level.And hope DB can get it together and be a true contender for a STATE TITLE in 6A.But know that it takes hard work and dedication from the players and coaches to do that.Made a comment on the 6A post on rather CLARK should step down.And made the point about playing more players and adding depth to make that happen to help DB win a STATE TITLE.And not even saying that would make them do so,But just know that it would give them a better chance.But again nothing but RESPECT for what GREENEVILLE has done over the last few years.

DB is TOP DOG in NE TENN! And will win 7 or more games a year as long as there in that WEAK CONF. But if they were put in any other CONF they go 5-5 at best. To the DB fanbase just accept the fact DB want ever be a true STATE TITLE CONTENDER and enjoy the wins you get from playing those scrub teams and playing NON CONF teams that are weak and KINGSPORT is not a STATE TITLE CITY. HEAK, Even GREENEVILLE past you up with there HARD WORK and COACHING.My high school team had 123 players on the team, and no one played both ways except the ones that were D-1 or D-2.Theres no reason why a school like DB should be playing guys both ways. The teams DB plays except for SC,KF and maybe EH and SHILL they have plenty on games to get guys playing time.DB don't have that much talent to have guys playing both ways.Thats one thing that holds them back,I think its the main reason.And that would bring a lot more kids out to play.Some folks will say that the ones that practice hard get the playin time,And that should be the way it is,But if you have kids not given there all get them off the team.What ever happen to cutting players.My school made you earn playing time,and whats the need for having 75 on a team and only playin 17?Thats the real problem.DEPTH,That's what DB needs,Look at MARYVILLE and even GREENEVILLE.I understand how it works now a days,You have to give the doctor and lawers sons on the field if you want money put into the program.But theres a time when you have to do whats best for the team not the players.Im sure some of you will talk a lot about this and say stupid mess about what ive wrote.But it will be alright,cause this is coming from a fan that has no ties to DB and moved here and took up with the team.Just wanting to see what other folks think about what I wrote and agree or disagree.
