  1. I am not familiar with schools on the West side on Knoxville but who has the biggest and best fan base? Home? Away? Overall? The fan base makes games more interesting to attend in my opinion. i'd rather go watch a game where the fans are on their feet from the time they get there until they leave than watch an undefeated team run through someone (again), So who has the best fan base? 1....2....3....ARGUE! LOL
  2. I know this thread wasn't meant for ME anyhow. If it was it would have had "Jonesy856" on it. Does it? No. Now, aside from Football..Congrats DB Baseball
  3. As much as I LOATHE the evil Dobbyns Bennett....I do have to congratulate them. Not many teams can go 10-0 or 9-1 on a regular basis................................and choke in round 1 or 2..Every. Stinkin. Year. Good Job Tribe
  4. I prefer the spread over any other offense there is. It is near impossible to stop the spread when you have the right weapons throwing, blocking and catching. Would be interesting to witness this game in person. Should there be a chance this game (Hoover-Blackman) is on ESPN?
  5. How will TN High fair with the losses of Sampson, Henley, Mitchell and company?
  6. Looks like a good group of cross line games. Very interesting. I wonder if any of this will cause any playoff confusion as it did Sullivan South a few years ago.
  7. Who all plays teams out of TN this season? I know Tennessee High and Virginia High play each other. S Sullivan South and Gate City, VA or Enka, NC?
  8. I have not been to many stadiums but I have only been to stadiums in North East TN. I have played as well as watched in many NE TN Stadiums. 1.) The Stone Castle (TN High) Yes, I may sound biased as I played at Tenn. High but just playing in the Stone Castle has the wonderful feeling. Tenn. High has installed turf and will begin to add another project with the addition of a concession stand in front of the scoreboard. 2.) J. Fred Stadium (DB): The War Hoop. Turf. 400 person band. 70+ football players. 1000+ fans screaming. What is not to love? 3.) Greeneville High School: The atmosphere at GHS is wonderful with the locker room/field house beside the stadium as well as all the bushes around the field with the turf. The fan base is amazing to watch and witness their reactions. 4.) Kermit-Tipton Stadium (The Hill, Science Hill) The "jumbo tron" sucks to be honest. Too small. Way too small. Beautiful stadium though. I loved playing on their field. I played on it once (The new field with the turf btw). Watching from the stands however, I feel as if we are too far away from the field.
