I agree - Waverly will be okay and the future looks bright. If Waverly's Lewis had been at the game Friday night it would have been different because of her consistent 3 point shooting. Waverly will be okay... may take a while but they will okay - they will be better than last year, for sure!

I think it will be a close game. Both teams are down this year but both play hard. It should be a good one and I will be there!

Watched the game last night - Edney is out for a couple of weeks with an ankle injory - she is a difference maker. It will be close but I believe our girls will pull it out - for the boys? McEwen beat them...enough said.

I have watched all of Waverly's scrimmages and I have really enjoyed watching the LOVE they have for the game. They play hard and they are much faster. They lost someplayers from the team last year, but the young ones have stepped up. Where will they place? I don't know...will I be there supporting and encouraging them? Yes - the future is very bright for the Tigerettes. You don't even want to know what I think of Cheatham County and Harpeth - winning is good but class is even better and I haven't seen much in those two schools.

Who won the game?

I think all of you guys are going to be surprised when you see Waverly play this year. They are a totally looking team. Yesterday in a play day they beat Henry Co. by 10 and Lexington by 25. Real rules and full games. They are young and she plays alot of Sophomores, but they like each other and are having fun. They are fast and fun to watch. You guys might be right - they might be dead last, but right now, they are a different team.

At half time it was 10-7, Waverly..wondering about the final score

Any idea who will get the job? I figure Henry Co. graduate, Grove coach, Renee Lassiter will get it - she is a great coach - hope they treat her right...

Coach Rawlings: Congratulations on a great 1st year of coaching. I look forward to many years of watching you work with your guys and working the refs I know people are saying that we will really be down next year but I know with your coaching abiblity you will be able to produce another great Waverly team. Again, thanks, Coach Kevin!

I agree with Fat But Lovable!! You guys have been so much fun to watch. You have no reason to hang your hands - you have brought excitement back to WCHS! Just look at the attendance of our games. THANKS FOR 3 GREAT YEARS~ This year I have heard the term, "Ricco and the boys"...well get ready because next year they will be referred to as "DJ and the boys"... thanks again WCHS boys basketball team!

I don't think Mike Craig is interested in coaching anymore. If he wanted to coach, he would have stayed at Waverly with the boys he coached until this year. Why leave Ricco and the boys if you wanted to still stay in coaching?

Has somebody compared Ricco to Tyler Smith? I don't think there is comparison, but I will tell you that I have enjoyed watching this group of boys at Waverly, especially Ricco - they play hard all the time. They are just a good group of boys who are fun to watch. Thanks guys for a great 4 years! It was sad seeing it end but it ended to a terrific Bolivar team. If you have to get beat, I guess it's good to get beat by the next AA State Champs!

The squabble between Hapeth and CHEATham is over? I don't think so...I think it will be a long time before Phil Carr and the CHEATham County basketball program will have the respect of their District ball teams. Example...last night at the Harpeth game - when the announcer announced the CHEATham County defeat, the Harpeth fans stood up and cheered. Most of the time Districts support each other but not with CHEATham County - they got everything that they deserved - they really got off better than they should. I was thrilled when I heard CCSH got beat so badly!

I agree Swamptiger....but was not surprised - I was sitting on the side where I could see Atteberry and Banes when they got their All Tournament...the atttitude was showed on their faces at that time. What goes around comes around - But nothing surprises me from CHEATham County - wait....when the ineligible player was voted Honorable Mention All District and the fans applauded like she was some kind of hero...that surprised me!

How interesting! 25 seats? Did CHEATham just add those 25 seats or was that a District vote?

Has Mendenhall quit? Is the coach in trouble? What is going on? That county is deep in problems~

Any news today? Guess everybody will get off CHEATham's back and go for Harpeth - looks like problems on the home front.

What is the news on Abby Lawson? It sure is being kept quiet...

Surely this is a rumor...right before regionals? Was she having problems on the team? I noticed when they played CHEATham that they didn't seem to play with the same intesity - plus all the talk before the game about Ellis, etc. I hope this is a rumor for the sake of her team - trust me, when one walks out on you, it does alot of damage to their team members - usually they don't care but the hurt is deep.

Is anything torn? We had one this year that tore her PSL and was out for 3 weeks but came back with a brace and did fine.

Any news on CHEATham County's Lawson? I hated seeing her go down last night. She is THE class player for CCHS. I wish her the best.

Cheatham Co. has a good coach with class but none is better than Waverly's Rawlings!
