  1. But are we considering who that Jellico has played? Because I looked at their schedule and it seems quite a bit harder than everyone else. Also you can't say Jellico shouldn't be a favorite considering they lost the 1st place seeding in a coin toss.
  2. I believe Oakdale could get beat at any moment as well. Can I get some inputs on who District 4a MVP will be?
  3. Well the district is between Oakdale and Jellico. Hope to see these two matchup again, also why is Oakdale only beating teams by 1 point night in and night out after beating a tough Jellico team?
  4. Jeremiah Martin is definitely my number one, the kid can flat out get it done night in and night out. There isn't much flaw to his game and he makes it look effortless, you could never question that he'll make a impact in college . Next I would go with John Payne watched this kid play at cookeville and watched him play aau over the summer and he can score with the best of them, has great handles and a soft touch, and has crazy good athleticism also his length makes him a lethal defender. My third would be Justin Bowlin he's Tennessees all-time assist leader(happened this year) and he has a nice pull up three and a killer crossover watched him play last week and had a 39 and 35 pt. game back to back getting doubled, best court vision I've saw in 20+ years. Would be happy for any of these guys to win it, they all are great players and very entertaining to watch!
  5. Haven't been on in a while. Can someone give me info on how the District has went throughout the year so far. Also I heard Jellico lost to Meigs by 1. Oz beat coalfield, and can someone inform me on how the Oz-Jellico matchup went tonight. ☺ï¸
  6. I watched Meigs and Jellico last year and it was a awesome game it was a showdown between Levi Woods who had 24 and Justin Bowlin who had 29. I personally think that it would be a down to the wire game between these two teams this year. Do you guys think Jellico has the district or could Oakdale possibly pull a upset? Haven't got to watch many this season but I heard that Bowlin and Steinmetz are the top 2 in district followed by McKinney?
  7. I watched os play over the summer, and they will be a hard to play against. Seemed as if every player in the starting lineup was over 6 ft tall. Oakdale was also very good Steinmetz can shoot the lights out and the big guy down low will be hard to guard. I didn't get to watch wartburg player over the summer but i heard that they are still playing a fast paced game which means they can run any team out of the gym. Oneida did not look good over the summer, they was having trouble scoring, looked disorganized without West there to give them their scoring. Next is coalfied, they will be one of the toughest teams to play against this summer. Their young pg will run the show and will be favorite for district mvp, they are solid and physical all the way around. Went and watched Jellico play at Fulton and Bowlin is honestly the best player in all the district, he has improved his shooting, and is honestly unguardable. But besides him that was all the scoring they had besides a Lay kid who can only catch and shoot. I'm expecting a good year in the district, anyone can be the favorite to win this year. 1. Jellico - If Bowlin wants to takeover the district, he will. Needs other players to step up to make a all around team. 2. Coalfied - District MVP returning! Have the capability to win it all. 3. Oliver Springs - With their size and ability to score at any position gonna be hard to beat . 4. Oakdale - Returning everyone, can Steinmetz take the district from Bowlin and a talented Coalfield team. 5. Wartburg - Young, but can shock the district with the offense that is the best tempo around. 6. Oneida - After losing West and Coach Yaden, can last seasons early favorites win it all. 7. Sunbright - Still really young, and not much talent. Honestly don't expect much from them.
