You aren't from Cookeville are you?

A little Rossview history. The school is only 13 years old. Enrollment is 1505 students. We won our first playoff game last week. The county now has 8 high schools. That's a far cry from when I graduated from Clarksville HS in the mid 70's. Back then, there were only three, CHS, Northwest and Montgomery Central. We had over 650 in my graduating class, while Rossview has about 325 this year. Back then, Clarksvile-Montgomery County was more competitive due to the numbers. Now all the schools here have the talent watered down. It's tough competing in 6A against schools like "Da Haven". We'll give it a shot.

I'm not so sure that Central did not shutdown themselves.

I'll take the "OR" option. Of course, not sure I'll have time this trip. But I would like a few ideas for my next Tunica trip.

It was a tough game. ( See Halftime score). You know, you never know how something shaped like a football will bounce.

Tech's a great school. Got 2 cousins who went there. You got good credentials Senator.. I have some friends there and it is a nice place.

Cookevegas? Man, it's a nice town, but Cookevegas? Cookeville is so small the New Years baby was born in June.

Not sure where all the talk about the team coming down early and all these students is coming from. I look for a Friday trip as I think eveyone's going down together. Might b a little tougher on the team, but you have to do what you have to do. Also, I don't expect a big student crowd, especially considering the weather.

Springfield is a tough team top to bottom.Balanced and talented. Like us ( Rossview), Springfield is under rated. Everyone already knows Hillsboro is talented. Should be a close game that either team can win. The only thing that concerns me is Springfield could let Hillsboro get into their heads and create penaltys. If they stay cool and play their game, they can win. I'm pulling for the Jackets!

Based on this board, should be a great game. Of course, the game is played on field, not behind the keyboard. "Da Haven" is obviously a great team and deserves respect. Not sure where "Clowns" comes from, but these are young men that have worked hard to get to this point and deserve their due. Same goes for Rossview. Let's hope for a good game. Really looking forward to Whitehavens band. If they are as good as I read here, you might see an old guy on the Rossview side "gettin down"! Shout out to the Jackets and Patriots. Go kick some butt.
