  1. Did we ever find out what happened on the late punt that seemed to touch MM?
  2. I was never sold on Foreman as a passer. The DB QB who got hurt (Cook?) had Foreman and Swofford as weapons. When Foreman became QB you lost him as a back/receiver which I think hurt DB. But he was scary running the option and QB sweep. His first TD against SHHS in 2012 was amazing. He seemed that switch direction mid air without losing speed. But you always had to respect Swofford. When Swofford got slowed with injury in that game Janeway and Scott really laid the pads on Foreman.
  3. I have to go with Hayes. Best HS QB I've seen, including Curt Phillips and Durand Ferguson. Hayes was very elusive but didn't have the caliber of weapons available to MM. Of course that is taking nothing from MM. He gasses opponents with his scrambling.
  4. Pick in the endzone hurt. TD end of first half hurt. But SHHS stood toe to toe with bigger BA team. With that line why does BA throw it? You never want to lose but this is a game the Toppers can build on.
  5. While I pull for the Hill I believe the travel will take its toll. I hope I am wrong.
  6. McGue's stats while gaudy, are a bit misleading. He has several receivers that can take it to the house. His athleticism buys him time and one of Mathes, Holley, Patton, or White is getting open. You can't come up to make a play because those guys are so dangerous. If they need tough yards Bedard can be a hammer. An issue to me is when Bedard is QB he looks for #11. SH is very deep on skill players with TJ or even Sutton. Trey has made a difference in D but some team will catch him out of place on his run blitz. I believe we haven't seen what this D can do. The offense is so potent they can be a bit gambling. They are bendable up front and teams have sustained drives. SH needs better competition. DB should relish SH being strong regardless of what the trolls think. A strong SH helps their program. This is their year. There we will be some drop next year but Carter has the kids fired up...hopefully he keeps the pipeline full like Clark can do at DB.
  7. I can't stop you from posting here...since you don't break the rules. But trolls hide behind the rules so don't get your feelings hurt when you are attacked back. You and the other DB trolls should add something intelligent to the SH threads. And not all DB fans are trolls. Just to be crystal clear.
  8. You are funny WACKO. You won't find me hijacking DB threads to push my outdated agenda like you. I bring up playoffs to remind your type of a DB fan (on a SH thread) that you aren't so high and mighty as DB has their playoff disappointments. You behave like DB is the 10 time reigning champ. They aren't. I remember many times the Tribe having superior teams only to have Oak Ridge whip you after DB had won during the year. So my point is you are a cliché in calling the kettle black.
  9. Why talk? The streak is done. Should have been done the year before but obviously you missed the wakeup call. The streak was your way of not having to remember your playoff failures. The best you can do now is be a troll. You can't control yourself when you see a Science Hill thread.
  10. I know he couldn't have gone to DB. Their school is very good. They should make trolls have an ACT score above 18 to post here.
  11. Here come the DB trolls talking about the last 30 years like Marlon Brando in "On the Waterfront"...I coulda been a contender. DB trolls like to rag Science Hill but their own team with much more talent hasn't gotten far either. It makes them feel good to mention their dominance. Fact is this is high school football. Remember when Karns beat the #1 ranked mighty Indians? Anything can happen week to week with young kids. SH biggest obstacle is travel and being physically and mentally ready. I think they can score but the defense tends to lose heart at times. At other times their speed and size are formidable. BA probably wins due to travel and better overall players. But turnovers and penalties can play a factor like it did when the Beavers took down the mighty Tribe. Regardless, SH will come back and a should breeze until Halloween night. Last year MM gassed them as the Tribe defenders ran out of arrows chasing Malik. Now, DB knows the rivalry has returned regardless of how many times the trolls bring up the past. But on Halloween night you can still scare a DB fan by walking up to him and saying, "Playoffs!"
  12. See what I mean. Calling names and being rude. Not sure I know how to quite whining. Grow a pair? Very original. I guess I threatened your manhood there Wacko. Better yet you are probably kin to ole Shooter...always talking about the foul that wasn't called. I've been here a few years. Not sure about the number of posts..I don't count posts so as to be important. I have seen you call out Coach Clark a time or two...like you could execute a game plan or manage a sideline.
  13. Nope. Science Hill fan here. My son plays. I just find the DB trolls amusing. You guys live to refute everything said by a Topper fan. Then you bring up past history and big wins that got away like Shooter in Hoosiers.
  14. Why do the DB trolls hijack every Topper thread? I think you are still smarting from last year.
  15. MW is too one dimensional. Their QB just could not throw the ball. He locked on his one receiver and let it fly. On swing passes he threw the ball at his receivers feet. On D they just didn't have the speed. McGue extends plays with his legs and they were tired from chasing him at the end of one quarter.
  16. wacojaco...the biggest troll this side of the Mississippi
  17. Coach Bosken said after the game his team couldn't tackle. Legend has it Davy Crockett died with his hands clutching knives buried in the guts of two Mexican solders. 4 others dead enemy solders were near him as well. In other words Davy Crockett died with his boots on...fighting to the end. He didn't whine that he was overwhelmed and it wasn't fair. I think if you asked him [if you could], he would want his name back.
