I am assured this will always be mutual SS. OR put AC on the map with such a grand and great winning tradition. So all of Anderson County should have at least a respect for the wildcats. I know I do! I would not even second guess Oak Ridge being on the schedule. I am confident they will be there. The talent and professional coaching that comes from OR would only benefit the Mavs coaching staff for a run at 4A state.

I think OR, West AC and SD this years playoffs should be up for grabs. OR depth might be the edge. AC was right with West last year and I think West was a bit better last year. West is big play team much like OR. So in the above order; any given night or nights any of these teams could get a ticket to the State. Winning it is another story.

Oh that is certainly understandably and it could have been someone else. But if it happened multiple times I can really see. Just try not to do this if we play again at OR. Revenge is mine say the Lord forgive and forget.

I really like the PA he is good at least for the Mavs. He has always been on cue. I am thinking this happened at one game last year it may have been a mistake but it depends on how many times it happened. Other then that to me he is really good. If I am not mistaken I think West last year thought he was good. Really never heard anyone complain of him but you guys. What's up with that? LOL No seriously he is good!

It would be interesting to know half stats when ever you get chance I have to catch a ferry at 5am so when you can I would so appreciate it. I will try and watch the game on the net at BBB too this weekend if I do not work then too. LOL

I see. That too makes sense. But it appears we were a little more explosive then I assumed considering the circumstances and up until the 4th it sounds like the game could have went either way which again is good but not what I expected even at home. In the past AC did not play at home as good as they did away overall my experience but again that was the past.

This is good. Wow this is telling something. 28 pts just on field advantage and big plays. Is that correct with total yards being 100. I may have misunderstood the total yards but that is a wow if so.

This was absolutely great Mav4. Wonderful Synopsis! I have been in the dark since some people have to work. LOL the 3 hours difference does not help either. Did not want to bother Davey and Russ. They have a lot of work to do . But I feel that I was at the game. I hope you have more stats. As you know sometimes your stats and details is all others may know for a while. Thx

Taking nothing away from OR as I knew what they had and have. More impressed with the defense but again I think we all expected that from OR. I am very impressed with the Mavs football players. This is another tough crew from AC. Just wish we could have had a better situation of circumstances but that’s football. Anyways it is a new season now and the Mavs get a second chance and usually when they get a second chance they really improve. Looking forward to the playoffs and it will be real nice if we get to meet OR again too.

Congratulations OR Great game. Much closer then I thought. this should be an interesting playoff now. Mavs should grow from this loss. Good job Mavericks. playoffs its a new season now! Put this game behind you and learn.

Hello someone update me on a ferry headed home from Seattle and can not believe mavs are in the game....what's score?

SS ………One has to be honest in all aspects; be true to thy self. OR has the size and are apparently healthy. The kicker alone would make a difference in a close game and keeping him away from his range all night would be……….Awesome! But of course that is asking too much. Blocking the kicks would be……Awesome but again asking too much. OR has a great head coach. Catholic pretty much well took care of the Mavs; shut down Fox scoring and with the talent OR has one would have to assume OR will cruise. I am just hoping for an injury free game for both teams as they prepare for the playoffs. It would have really been nice for the Mavs to have won back to back district championships for the first time in History but unfortunately OR had to be in the way. Maybe Fox, Company and the defense can somehow pull off a major upset and make all of us eat CROW! ïŠ It is of course not out of character for those Mavericks! GO MAVERICKS!

I sure hope this game is not as ugly as the Catholic game but with the injury bug and other issues I am just not sure AC can match up this round. What ever the case you can bet other 5A playoff teams will be watching both teams and unfortunately will get an eye full. At least the loser will live to fight another day.

It really is hard to see what OR is capable of as you know most teams in district are really not good to compare.

No I could agree with you and eat my pie too! I just hope it is a close game. After Catholic I would not be surprised with anything. But like the CC game OR really did not show what they were capable of and was a very good move. That game in my opinion could have been a much different score. But not meaning CC is not good just that I think OR was much better. Anyways that would be a hard film to Judge OR. Just an opinion.

LOL been in hiding..... Mavs Lost and Seahawks too... but a win today brought me out of hiding

Mavericks and Wildcats what a game for district championship! This is what it is all about ! OR is undefeated and rolling along. I hope this game is an injury free game and good officiating. Wish the best for OR but will of course be pulling for the Mavs. Mavs have a mountain to climb and conquer and certainly hope they have learned there lessons early with the recent loss. GO MAVERICKS!

This will be good game. Catholic is very good but I am counting on the Mavs Rush and the secondary to cause havoc for Catholic just enough for Fox and company to do damage. Mavericks 45 Catholic 31. But Catholic will not give up so the Mavs can never let their guard down and will have to play every down in order to pull this upset. Go Mavericks!

For some reason CC has always been a good homecoming game for AC. And apparently they still are ! Something's just never change.
