District 11 games tonight Creek Wood at Montgomery Central Montgomery Central in a close one Stewart County at East Hickman East Hickman boys get their much deserved win tonight Waverly at Lewis County Waverly wins in their closest game of the year. Rain and slop probably favors Panthers style of offense more but Waverly is talented on both sides of ball so it should be interesting. Perry at Hickman County Hickman wins this one easily Prayers for no injuries for any of the boys and travelling fans. Who y'all got??

It is my understanding that the new play caller for both sides of the ball has made the difference at Waverly this year. New coach and his staff has brought excitement, motivation and discipline back to the team. Now back to the original topic. It will be interesting Friday night at Waverly with East Hickman. East has played most of their opponents close and this game might be the same. I think that Waverly wins this game though.

Sounds like this has the makings for a great Friday night of football in Centerville. Should be a pretty close game. I don't think the Camden fans should throw your coach under the bus just yet, aren't y'all like 5-1. I think Camden wins this game.

I have seen Fairview play earlier this year(with the starting quarterback). At times he was able to keep some plays alive that would produce positive yards. If he plays Friday night I think he will be able to do the same, but I am not sure how fast Lewis County is. I think it will come down to whose defense steps up the most. I am going to go with Fairview this week.

It is all good and this is a new year for each team just like a couple of the posts above say. Try to enjoy what is going on in Waverly in 2014. Oh yeah, if you think Waverly has only been down since 2010, you might be the one that has "lost your mind." Sorry dude, couldn't pass that up. Just kiddin with ya.

This is too big of a game to not be on the first page of 3A topics. I have gotten to see Camden play this year and they looked good at times and unsure at times the game I saw. I bet they have improved since then. I haven't seen Lewis County play but like y'all keep saying I am sure they are going to be pretty good also. What are Lewis County's strong points this year? Speed, power, discipline? Good luck to both teams, it should be a fun game to watch.

Lewis County 3-0 has played two 1A schools with a combined record of 1-7 and East Hickman 0-3. Camden 4-0 has played three 3A schools with a combined record of 3-8 and a winless 2A school. The game is in Camden and I pick them to win based on home field and competition played this year. East Hickman 0-3 has played Lewis County and Camden pretty close this year, but White House Heritage not so close. Hickman County 3-0 has played a good 1A team (3-1) and two 3A schools with a combined record of 3-5. They seem to be playing pretty good and the game is in Centerville. I pick Hickman County to win. CreekWood 2-2 has lost to Dickson County (Dickson’s only win) and Hickman County. They won against a winless Cheatham County and Fairview. They seem to be playing pretty good too. Waverly 3-0 has played a winless 1A school, a winless 2A school and Stewart County. They have been able to score a lot of points and hold the other teams to a few. Game is in Waverly and I pick them to win. Montgomery Central 1-3 has lost to Camden, Hickman County, and Harpeth with a combined record of 10-1. Their win is against Clarksville Academy. They have lost to 3 pretty good teams so far but I bet got some good experience from it. Fairview 2-2 has lost to Camden and East Hickman. They have beaten a winless Cheatham County and Stewart County. The game is in Fairview but I don’t know if that will matter. My gut says go with Montgomery Central. Prayers for all the young men playing and fans traveling.
