I won't be posting anymore for awhile or attending anymore games this season I am sad to say. Im having some medical problems and am taking treatments. I'm disappointed this was the last game I got to see. Its really left a bad taste in my mouth. This season of basketball has been the worst called games I have saw in 20 years but to let players get away with what their getting by with and the refs decide so many games instead of the players is mind bogglingly to me. Shame on you TSSAA for not doing something. Good luck to Clay and Crange next week...the real winners tonight.

First of all I'd like to say I live in Celina. I am a Clay County fan first but am a 7a fan as well. I went to Livingston to watch Clay but stayed for the JC/Crange game. Between the clock keeper not starting the clock so JC had more time, #21 being allowed to do WHATEVER he wanted which includes pushing, elbowing, whining to refs, cussing Crange players, etc, refs calling a technical for no reason on Crange, letting JC foul, travel, etc....Crange didn't have a chance. This game was decided before they got there. Last night it was shining lights in PC girls eyes and chanting inappropriate things. Crange was robbed of this game and everybody knows it. Again I'm a Clay County resident so this is an unbiased opinion. If you don't win fair you don't win

If this about the LED lights is true bobcat I don't blame you for being upset. What is wrong with the officials not taking care of this type of behavior. Maybe the TSSAA will address it

At the beginning of the season I thought we would be watching another JC/Crange district final but im going out on a limb here and going with a PC/Crange final. I think the Lady Bobcats will win in a close one against JC. I think Crange will beat Monterey and will beat PC in the finals

Any opinions on how the JC/Crange and PC/Clay games will go Friday night? If the games are called pretty good I will go with Clay by 10 and Crange by 5

Didnt get to the games last night. For anyone that did make it--how were the refs? Were games called pretty good or was it lopsided like we have saw several games this year. Am hoping during tourn time we all get a fair called game but thats not always been the case so i was wondering if anybody has an opinion that was there at the games

Congrats to Key on MVP. Well deserved. Key has a great attitude and great sportsmanship as well. Very humble young man to be so talented. No smack talking no disrespecting other players. Again congrats. Clay County is very proud of you. Good luck to all in the tournaments next week

Another thing i would like to point out about tonights game is how respectful both teams were to each other. I saw several times the CC and Crange players talking, laughing, and patting each other on the back. It was a pleasant change to see such good sportsmanship from both teams. Fans were great on both sides as well.

First of all good game CC. Way to hang in there. Second of all Crange gave us all we wanted. They played a good game esp the first half but i have to agree with you Truth got outcoached in second half. Changed up what was working and seemed to get the team rattled. Crange had i think it was a 13 pt lead at one point. Good game to watch. Glad CC pulled it out but more than ever it shows district tourn is wide open. It could go to anybody

Me too! Congrats to Monterey. They have been struggling this season. Had some close games and seem to finally be figuring things out. Two district wins now against two good teams. Clay has Crange Thurs night up at Crange. Should be good game but i think Clay will pull it out and go undefeated in district

Good luck to all the players. Several good athletes in the district. Any of the players that have been mentioned on here have a shot and are well deserving. Key, phillips, beaty, etc are all great athletes and deserve recognition. Good job guys.

You may very well be right TruthHurts. Monterey is last in the district and that may hurt Phillips chances. Does attitude and good sportsmanship of the player play a part in who gets it? Do the coaches consider those things? Or is it stats only? If attitude is a factor that narrows it down even further.

I agree. I was told a senior usually gets mvp because the others have another chance to get it and the seniors dont. That may be right. I really dont know but if so then Key and Ferrell would be out of the running.

Does the mvp award usually go to a senior? I was informed of that at work last night. Is this true Bigbluefan? Fanatic? Im not up on past winners just last few years. I was figuring it didnt really matter what grade but I was told differently. If its usually a senior then that takes several options out

I will go with Dawson from PC for Freshman of the Year. Didnt someone say he is just a freshman? Great player. Havent saw anything out of the other freshmans in the district. Not knocking anyone just saying the games I've saw I havent saw any other stand outs. Could be some and I havent got a chance to see them

Im going with Phillips getting MVP along with Hall, Beaty, Ferrell,and Key on first team. Just a guess. Not necessarily my opinion but just a guess how it might shake out. Alot of great players. Could go to anyone. Like you said Truth there are alot of players that mean alot to their teams. Siems and Coe are a couple more come to mind that might make first team as well. I could be off on a couple spots. Wouldnt be the first time.
