I think the key for Eagleville will be developing sustained drives... Eating clock... Best defense will be there offense... That will certainly help... Don't agree with the post Fayetteville beating Huntland either... Too talented to play with them for 4 quarters... Did check the Class A quad with NCS CA Wayne Co and Huntland all in it... Not a lot of breathing room in that one at all.

Sounds like barring anything goofy, Forrest and Adamsville should meet in quarters if Forrest can get MTCS in week 9... I've heard the good back from Adamsville last year is at Miss State... Awesome feeling I bet being part of that program these days!!!

I think if Forrest wins out and Huntland wins out, you'd see Quad 3 like this: 1 Adamsville 2 Forrest 3 Mt Pleasant 4 Riverside 5 Scott's Hill 6 Loretto Unless, they would throw MTCS west with an 8-2 or 7-3 record and push Forrest east with a 2-3 seed along side Trousdale with a 2-3 seed? Thoughts?

I agree with Ascendotuum for the most part... I could still see a TN River District: Waverly Mckenzie Scott's Hill Riverside Lewis Hickman... Keep 3 in East TN vs. 4 as you stated... Waverly to Cascade is a long hike... Every bit of 2 hours 30 minutes.

I see the districts in 2A like this: East: 3 Districts Middle: 2 Districts 1 Middle/West District West: 2 Districts (One of which would be mostly Memphis schools) The Middle/West District would be something like Hickman Lewis Waverly McKenzie Scott's Hill Riverside... Of course, I am just guessing. But, that would make for a very competitive district in my eyes.

Huntland is champs if they win out... MTCS wins out they are... I don't know what the tie breakers are if Forrest beats MTCS and MTCS beats Huntland... Anybody help on this? And I agree Buddha... Another year and I think Forrest is in that "upper notch"... The staff has got a tight hold on that program from the grass roots... I am sure Card Fan can attest that's what goes on in Adamsville and I know that's the case in Trousdale and Marion... I am not a private school fan at all, so I won't comment on TCA. Don't want to open that public-private can of worms.

That seems to be the take around these parts... MTCS is a solid club, but to stay they are on the level of a Adamsville TCA Marion or Trousdale is far fetched... To put it simply, the schedule has been weak and they have not to been tested... Eagleville has played Forrest Huntland and Mt Pleasant and has some Seniors that have been in some playoff games that will provide some experience in this scenario.

I think scheme wise, they will be totally prepared to stop the air attack... I would tend to lean on the side of Redrage and his pick also... Very solid staff to get them ready and two weeks to do so.

According to the posts, looks like full throttle for Rockets by Oct 24... Blue collar bunch should be able to make a push.

I would think Eagleville has the most at stake these last few weeks... With MTCS Moore Co and Community... I would think they need 2 of those 3 to get a top 24 spot.

Good analysis... It'll be interesting to see how bubble teams in east fair the last 3 weeks also... Silverdale, Watertown, etc... That could push teams east as you have stated... If you check out the DNJ sports page in Murfreesboro, I would think at some point this week, they'll run a projection for 2A... They did one for 6A this morning.

Honestly, I think MTCS is good but haven't played a lot of competition... You can check the schedule and see... I think they will beat Eagleville, lose to Forrest and Huntland... That would put Huntland 1 (Class A) Forrest 2... It would make MTCS then 3 and Eagleville 4... What would then happen with placement in your opinion?

Possible quarterfinal game vs. Marion Co looms for Jackets and it appears it's going to be in Jasper.

Thought you guys down in McNairy Co would want to know a lot of football to be played up here yet for quad positioning... Eagleville MTCS game this week then MTCS Forrest in week 9... Playoff implications for placement loom... MTCS is a lot like TCA in that they'll sling it all over the field... Forrest and Eagleville just solid blue collar clubs with a lot of big game experience... Should be a fun stretch. Who wins TCA ECS?

I would like to point out that Hendersonville in 6A did go west last year and they are as much to the east as MTCS.

I don't know if somebody in their 40s is a dude, but thanks anyhow pal... West seems to be stronghold... You are correct with that... Good luck down the stretch to your bunch.

If MTCS would run the table or just lose once, look for them to go west and balance out that quad 3. If geography holds true with the fellas in Hermitage, Huntington could slide to quad 3 also. Loretto could be a team that doesn't advance to the final 24 if you'll look at their remaining schedule also.

Should be very close to full strength by week 9... I will say that playing at home last 3 games plays to their favor... Definitely a great time of the year.

I would like to see how MTCS would have faired against Page and Lauderdale County... My guess is 2 losses... I can't see them winning out, but would say they do have a better than average AA playoff team.
