Thank you very much for your honest opinion! I could go on for days about how screwed up the refs were in that game but I’m trying to not be so obnoxious about it- in the end we got Liggett back but there was no reason for him to be ejected at all- he had no previous penalties at all! It just scares me that it could have cost us the game and never mind all this unnecessary stress and time wasted over it! And I’m just hoping for good fair refs Friday night and hopefully not as much “dirty football “! Go Tigers!

Well I’m not going in to detail about what happened but it was definitely 2 major errors on the refs part- we have Kam getting to play which is all we wanted. But it would be nice if they admitted to their mistakes but at the end of the day it all worked out! Such a distraction for our coaches and players and totally unnecessary - but moving on we gotta get ready for a dog fight in the trenches! Here we go Tigers! 3 semifinals in a row! Let’s channel our emotions from all this chaos into positive vibes for us! Winners never cheat- cheaters never win!

Very obvious he doesn’t retaliate against the kicking, eye gouging or throat hold. I’m not able to post Hudl video. And he had no previous penalties in him.

We definitely have our hands full appeal, long trip plus playing the number one team in the state! I know my Tigers will give it all they got! They play with so much heart and tenacity! Third year in a row playing semifinals is pretty big too! Love my Tigers!!

I’m hoping we have a big crowd but with Cornersville playing at home I think a lot of people will go there because of short ride! I’m pulling for the Dawgs and the Tigers to have Marshall County with 2 in state championship!

Thank you Greeneville fans you seem genuinely kind, after last night I need warm welcoming football peeps! I will try to behave- I usually let the refs know if I see something they might miss! Just out of concern for my Tigers- other than that I get along well with most people! I think it will be a long ride and an exciting game. We are banged up after that bar fight last night, praying they overturn Liggett’s ejection because we sure need him and I can’t wait to see your stadium! It looks awesome and your team film and stats look pretty impressive- my Tigers will be ready though! I’ve had my eye on Greeneville for awhile now, really thought last year we would meet up but Knox central changed our plans!

Yep all taken care of! Not saying refs should be there at 3:30. Let me clarify something, refs job is too not let players get to the extremes like last night or to let coaches walk on field and take over. We will see how it goes from here, I just want our player to be able to play next Friday- that’s all we are asking for.

My nerves are shot after the chaos that ensued last night! So I’m just hoping Liggett can play and we have a good old fashioned football game instead of feeling like we were playing in a gang/ streetfight/boxing match. Well all I know is when Tigers play out of town like that we get on bus and go home quickly and don’t destroy the locker rooms either. So you are entitled to your opinion but if you would like to watch Hudl video you will see that Tigers didn’t start anything it began at 3:30 when panthers were tearing up our field calling one of our ladies taking food out there- calling her ugly words and yes parenting is where it starts. But refs gotta keep it from getting to that level-been around football 47 years never witnessed anything like this. Especially what happened after the game!

I got most of it recorded and yes Tssaa will be made aware of it. I promise you we are working on it. This was as bad as Knox-Catholic game 3 years ago as far as referees and fans but I’m like you I’m so mad over a costly win! Go Tigers!

Our refs were from Springfield and they let MW staff talk to them on the field all night- no sideline warnings at all! Those refs were scared of Maplewood and let it get way out of hand! When you have on helmets with visor and they are still gouging and poking players eyes out- refs need to diffuse that situation early you flag them and let them know it can’t keep happening! Yet you let it go on all night and our players flat on their back shoves MW player off and gets ejected! I’m disappointed and disgusted by these refs and have lost all respect for Maplewood and I’ve been quite for 3 years about them but to be threatened during and after a game on our home field! Pay for extra security because “ they are coming for us”- have all the cops in town there- our police shouldn’t have to be at a high school football game because of 20 players and 20 fans trying to start a fight! Thank Goodness our police were there already and our coaches acted fast to diffuse the situation! Tssaa it’s time to do something about this! I’m a loyal Tiger fan of 40 plus years and never felt so threatened like last night! Been all over Tennessee to watch my Tigers play- but scared at a home playoff game is utterly ridiculous!

It needs to be addressed and known that 30-45 minutes after the game ended our team was on the bus and a few of us fans were walking off field behind #6 from his radio interview- so he was alone and here comes Maplewood fans taunting him, cussing him and our coaches acted quickly to diffuse the situation. Maplewood team comes from locker room running to our buses ( they should have been long gone at this point) utterly classless most scared I’ve ever been in my life as i stood there stunned but started recording it. I’ve lost all respect for the particular refs we had last night and Maplewood as a whole. We shouldn’t have to hire extra security because we are playing them- Come on coaches and parents teach them how to behave on a football field! When you are scared taking your children to a high school football game- there needs to be some repercussions addressed here. There were a few Maplewood players that tried to calm their players down but their coaches were slow to react. I’m so disappointed in this, been going to watch my Tigers for 40 plus years and been to Memphis, Knoxville and all over the state. Never thought at our own field i would feel threatened! Hoping we can all learn from this situation. Give peace a chance! God bless America, Go Tigers and Roll Tide!!

Lead farmer were you still there to witness the Maplewood fans and entire team attacking us walking off field? Our boys were on the bus already and they came at #6 because he was alone after radio interview. I’ve never witnessed anything so mean and scared for my life trying to find my family and make sure everyone was ok. They should have been long gone by this time - It felt like they were waiting for us. We need to meet sometime.

Terrible call by refs - he was flat on his back getting throat punched and Panthers poking his eyes thru his helmet and he pushed guys off him and got ejected. Would like to comment further and even show the video of it- but don’t want to jeopardize anything concerning an appeal, so will wait about that. We played a bad first quarter 3 fumbles and some mistakes we’ve never made before but We finally settled down and played better after that fiasco! Tigers are banged up a lot as well but ready to play round 4! Can’t wait to get to Greeneville to hopefully play a much more disciplined and much less dirty football team! Go Tigers!
