  1. Another loss on Friday night. This is 21 straight losses by 3 coaches in 24 months. I was at the game. It looked liked few cared. GCS filled the visitor's stands. Students wearing jerseys on the sidelines were texting and talking to everyone over the fence during the game. The Cougars did not show much discipline. Joslin has a lot to do to get a win in 2016.
  2. Long time high school coach in Tennessee Jerry Joslin (Gallatin, Cookeville, Pope John Paul) goes winless in first season at Goodpasture. Coach Joslin is making the Cougars better. Expect a better 2016.
  3. Goodpasture Football may make history this week. Could an private school that is 50 years old really go 0-20 over two seasons? Fact #1 Goodpasture football is on hard times. Fact #2 Football with Jerry Joslin and the return of long time trainer Chris Snoddy is getting better! Volleyball just won their 4th straight state championship. Girls Soccer won 3 games maybe. Girls Basketball is on their 6th coach in 16 years. Baseball & Softball has had a coaching changes also in the last 16 months. The gym is dated. The football stadium is archaic. What is next. Perhaps more changes... Any suggestions on how to make it better? Anyone?
  4. When you are 0 for 16 over the last 16 games an open date is much needed. This may be longest losing streak of any private school in Tennessee Remember the Cougars have had 4 Coaches in 4 years. 2012 David Martin's last year 2013 Leslie Mote 2014 for 7 games Leslie Mote 2015 Jerry Joslin Too much change. Glad some stability has returned to the once proud Cougars.
  5. GCS Cougars lost to White's Creek at the GCS homecoming game. GCS did score 2 TD's for the first time this season. 0-5 and at Lipscomb this week.
  6. Give the new coach a chance. He is working hard. There are no breaks when you are 0 - 15 for the last 2 years. Stadium renovations revealed on Saturday by headmaster.
  7. The better times are ahead for the Cougars! Give Coach Joslin get Goodpasture back to winning.
  8. Goodpasture and Fayette Academy both went winless in 2014 in football. They are the ones to schedule. Goodpasture is Division I & Fayette Academy is Division II. They are only 2 of the 19 winless high school teams in the state.
  9. Every one in Nashville wants in the region with Goodpasture. Their opponents can expect a win football for years to come. The program is in shambles.
  10. Goodpasture went 0-10 in football in 2014. They are only one of two private schools in the state to do this. The other school is Fayette Academy. Their softball team did not even make the region tournament last spring. If they are recruiting they are doing a really bad job.
