Phillips is great and their defense has been good all year. But you also have to look at the teams they played. Hunters Lane, Hillwood, Antioch, Glencliff, Cane Ridge. Not really world beaters. Kenwood and Springfield not overwhelming on offense either. I'm just saying that Shelbyville is probably the best team they've played this year so far.... it is the 3rd round of the playoffs.

While I think Hillsboro will win- I also think their defense will be tested by Shelbyville.

Antioch was and will continue to be a good school to coach at. Being one of the top 10 schools in terms of enrollment is a plus for any new coach. The first few years will probably be tough, as usual for new coaches anywhere, but with the right hire, and as Hogan said, an automatic post-season qualifier, Antioch would be a desirable coaching spot. It will likely be tough to win in the new region early on though.

I agree. I think though its somewhat more of a testament to the offenses in WilCo. Indy, Franklin, Ravenwood, even Cent. had great athletes on offense and had a great amount of success putting those kids in position to make plays. Like you stated, Bwood was just the at the bottom of the barrel.

While I agree with you RUN about records not completely justifying the ability of a coach, the overall records do play a pivotal role in determining the quality of a HC. Should he have been given more time? Were there consist improvements at Brentwood? Those are the questions that need to be asked and answered. It is without question to piggyback on what others have said, their defense was bad all year long. Just deplorable.

Having seen Hillsboro play once, and having not seen Springfield play perhaps I am wrong. I just know of the big DE/OL that's being highly recruited as well as the RB mentioned in the paper a week or so ago committing to UT. I don't know, but wouldn't think Springfield has anyone to match up with either one of those two players. Maybe they have some big time recruits we just don't know about? I think Hillsboro has better talent than Springfield? Perhaps I am wrong though...

Springfield seems to have a great following on here. Hillsboro not so much. Although I do think Hillsboro will win this game easily. Hillsboro is fast and talented. Springfield does not match up well with Hillsboro. This game will be a 3 score game, my prediction.

Cleveland by 7. Well coached and disciplined. Discipline wins games! So does talent too haha, should be a close game.

Another tough run for Brentwood this year. That environment/culture demands results immediately and unfortunately for Woodward, those results were never achieved in his 2 years. Their defense was poor all year; constantly exploited. Wish Coach the best.
