Congrats to Lady Redhawks for an undefeated district season. That is the first time in their three year tenure. Good Luck in the regions come back and see us next wednesday at the Wood Stewart. 10-AA is over for this year but i will call my shot for next year. I think we will give the other teams a little deja vu. I'm out

I saw the whole incident. CW would not have thrown at a guy in a one run game. There isn't any sense on putting people on the base paths when you are playing the number one team in district and facing their number one. The thing that struck me as classless was the stare down when Bullard hit his homerun. If anyone was going to be hit on purpose it would have been the next guy up to bat for Bullard's stare down but as everyone knows CW didn't hit him. It was a good game all around. A few key plays blew the game open. The score doesn't justify the game at all.

Come on down Stewart Co.. We'll be waiting. Congratulations on your bid to region. Stewart had been on top of their game this tournament. Everyone had Stewart picked to finish in the bottom of the district this year but they are in the championship game now. I just hope Lacey's back isn't sore from carrying the team this far .

Creek Wood hit three in one game against Montgomerey Central earlier this year. Laura Jepsen hit a grand slam and then Brittany Steverson hit a solo shot right after her. The next inning Laura Jepsen hit another grand slam (yes two grand slams same girl she finished with 11 rbi's)

CW over Waverly 3-2. My call was close but jp was right we couldn't get the shut out. we've given up two runs to you guys in the last three games you guys were due to score some runs. Who's playing with us in the championship.

What will the Stewart/ Sycamore game be like. How did they do in the regular season.

i don't know if weak is the word but you are right their hitting isn't up to par right now. i believe they have become satisfied with being regular season champs. That doesn't get you anywhere and they need to realize that. If they want a shot to go back to Memphis then they need to step their game up. Good Luck in the tourney Lady Redhawks.

Man that sounds like that could possibly be the worst call of the year. What did the coach do when the call was made? To say that someone was thrown out when there was no throw in not a bad call that is a vendetta against another team. At least saying the catcher made the tag would be one thing but a throw? Where was the field umpire? Why wasn't the play appealed. If the appeal didn't overturn it, why wasn't the game protested? That just sounds wierd to me.

Really? I thought that it was Waverly High School that put that tournament on. So, does Mcewen put it on every year?

Are there any more district games that could affect district standings?

That is because they are very end loaded. Being end loaded gives the player the ability to swing it through the zone a lot quicker and harder. Some players that i know had to practice for two weeks straight off of a tee and pitching machines to get to where they were making solid contact instead of popping balls up. Those bats are all the Creek Wood team uses and they have nine girls on their team with at least one home-run. Earlier this year Laura Jepsen (center fielder for CW) had two grand slams in one game. If i had to guess i would say that if it had been another bat she would not have dropped two granny's on the opposing team.
