NCS is going to be a tough out.

I tried to tell you guys that NCS were on another level.

NCS was put out last year by Union which is really good. HH is not on that level now. They will be far more physical than you think.

NCS is just on another level. Just wait and see.

Scrappy bunch. Run smokestack and some spread. Front 7 is their strength on defense. Secondary is all sophomores. Pretty banged up right now. They lost their 1,000 yard rusher tonight. Preliminary reports are that it could be season ending. Lost first two games to a 5A and 3A schools respectively. Lost in Region to NCS and TC.

He is. I graduated with him. He has a son on team. I have a nephew who is a senior. Will be making the long trip over to see you guys next week. Sounds like Monterey will have their work cut out for them. You guys have a good football team.

I think there will be a pretty good crowd. Even though played at Tech sometimes it seems underwhelming because the stadium is so big. I know from the Monterey side of things I have seen a lot of people saying they will be making the trip in.

21-8 and you score I don't see how that's running up the score. Sure they would have won without it but you just don't kneel it out with 3:00 to go. Especially after what they gave up late to Midway last week.

Monterey has a Hardees, Burger King, Dairy Queen, Subway and a couple grocery stores. They do have a hotel. A couple of gas stations. Not very big. People go to Cookeville or Crossville to do shopping, movies and such.

Yes, they play at TTU. They have not had a field for over two years now. Practice just on a patch of grass. No set weight room. They just had three "home" games this year. They suddenly closed their school and they shoehorned them into the old elementary school while they build a new high school. Kinda pathetic really that the school board did this to them.

Monterey is not some juggernaut but they are not bad. Even though they only one by two they dominated on defense until the fourth quarter. They did have several breakdowns to give up big plays but until then they absolutely shut Midway down. Offensively they are nothing special but just try to grind you down.

Monterey has a pretty stout defense. One good TB. A really good blocking FB. They throw it a little but not very effective. The FB is also a middle LB and is all over the field. They usually just try and grind you down.

Monterey beat Gordonsville by that score. They lost the first 3 and have now won 8 straight. They lost to Cookeville, Upperman, and Clay county.

Monterey doesn't have a field right now. Much less a radio station. Seriously though, there isn't a radio station there.
