looks like all 3 teams will go into last week of season at 1-3 in district and the last game of the year has Franklin County vs Page Lincoln County vs Summit Columbia vs Shelbyville One of the 3 teams will be left out of playoffs and it will come down to who can win that last region game or it will go to tiebreakers, correct? Hopefully one of those games is not a Covid forfeit

i agree, no way to judge given no scrimmages, new coach at FC with new offense BUT both teams have a great Sophomore class that will certainly play a role in the game!

Their district is primarily the Williamson County Schools, Summit, Page, etc...Alot of folks around here would be glad to go back to the old 8AAA FC, Lincoln County, Tullahoma, Columbia, Shelbyville, Lawrence County

all that i have heard is that it is Justin Cunningham's job IF he wants it~ i have heard that from several sources but primarily from the breakfast crowd at Hardee's and they are usually spot on!

i get what you are saying, i just disagree. I believe every parent wants to hear their kids name called out as a "great tackle" or "great touchdown" they are not going to hear that at an away game, and i have no problem with home team PA announcers propping up their own kids! I just dont believe the home fans have a problem with our PA guy being excited about our kids, may be wrong, but like i said i have never heard this complaint

so to sum this up, opposing teams dont like our PA announcer because he is too loud and is an unapologetic supporter of the home team who he is employed by? Personally as someone who needs names shared for play by play purposes i enjoy going to games where i can hear on the opposing sidelines the names of kids who score, etc... Summit has a very loud PA announcer who is obviously a huge supporter of the Spartans but i left that stadium having had a good time! The PA announcer should be a supporter of the home team with respect to the visiting team and he does that very well

Been in and around the program for many years and several coaching staffs and have NEVER heard anyone, either in public or private, complain about the PA announcer! Not sure what that would have to do with a current coaching search anyways?

My son played under Carr and Reed and i do love both those coaches but to say that 5-5A is the weakest region in the state is flawed, Summit, Shelbyville, and Page are all currently top 10 in the state in 5A! That is half the district currently in the top 10! The old 8AAA district would be the best option for all these teams in this area!

my sources tell me it was Jay Gruden not John Gruden that Rhoton was having lunch with at Applebees last week! Now that he has been fired by the Redskins it is all starting to make sense!
