I agree with the knee controversy, did Kelly handle it properly? Some say no and I dont disagree but no one on outside can imagine the size of that elephant in the room. Most of players were Holly's recruits, Tess is a Kelly recruit and I applaud her for standing. Is she Sec caliber all around  player, Imo, no. But to say Kelly is not going to cut it is way pre -mature.  Pat grew the game so much she cannabilized her own success. The women 's game is so much more equal now, and yes coachin, recruiting is so crucial in success .

Gees man, Kelly needs a little time to get her players ,just cause she didn't get your girl Moore dont mean she will not be successful.  Moore didn't exactly tear it up at Indiana,  I see her back at UT Martin in future.  Save this post.

Absolutely. This will be his second State Championship appearance, first at Lebanon. He won a state and national championship with that very good Riverdale team. If last year had not have ended because of Covid this could have been his 3rd and 2nd straight.

I dont think he would have won last yr,but this yr ,he has legit shot!

Macon should be careful.  Third game in 3 days playing 5 kids.  They press very much and may gas a couple of their own out.

Grainger looks to be able to play tough man D, which you have to against Macon, and they all look very well conditioned.

Agree Grainger is the team ,I have been watching all year. Should be great game.

Lebanon was known for not being very good for awhile but in Barrett’s second year he wins the region and takes them to substate. The next three years after that they have made it to the state tourney. This is his 5th year at Lebanon and he completely turned this program around. Definitely one of the best coaches in the state. I agree, to rebound like he has. I firmly believe in 2nd chances!

Barett gets fired at Riverdale with the "dribblegate" scandal lands in Lebanon turns that program around and playin for a state championship.  Been like 6 of 7 yrs. Coaching matters!

This debate is perfect example on why social media and people's  biased opinions differentiates from the reality.  She is not better than any of the finalists.

My take, if your stats meet the criteria great, if you are not a d1 level player being recruited or committed then your out of consideration especially AA and AAA. 

If Grainger can shoot like they have, they can win, a very mediocre Livingston team beat Macon cause they shot the 3 well. And Grainger is much better than LA.

Miss Basketball, no different today than 20 yrs ago. Now we have social media and everybody thinks their girl is Miss Basketball. This year got out of control especially in the Uppercumberland it was a circus.

Macon is seasoned and has played the best teams and players this year. Grainger and Northview very similar ,but big stage ,big players they aint used too in East Tennessee AA. Meigs intriguing they are scrappy will fight a chain saw but if officiating loosens up may hurt em. Maplewood could be the sleeper but can they adjust when things get tough? Westview every year is going to win it but they play no one to prepare for the octagon! Covington and Creekwood enjoy the experience,  I dont have much intell on the 2. Covington did knock out Southside who played nobody as well. 

Loretto vs Summertown for gold ball is my prediction.

Lol, it just brought back "horrible " memories for me, but at same time its just a game. Anything can happen good luck to your team from an ole dad  be proud regardless whatever happens.
