Cookeville bounces back with a win today but played terrible.  42-24 vs Cocke County.  They were losing 22-15 at the half.  They held CC to 2 FT the second half and no FGs.   So at least the D stepped up the second half.  Way too sloppy today.  Unforced turnover after turnover and they couldn’t  make shots for long periods of time.   That’s going to bite them again (like last night) if they don’t fix something quick.   Merry Christmas!

Road trips take their toll, they wear on ya.gettin back in routine works wonders. Even though its 2020. Hopefully the season keeps goin.

2017 Riverdale ( 2 sec players and 2 conf -usa players as starters).

2018 Upperman ( 1 sec player and 1 ovc player as starters).

Watched an average to decent White County team pound Wilson Central. High school sports goes in waves,happens to everyone eventually. 

According to the above article, there could be a fill -in game rematch this year at Bradley with Upperman. Sayin Bradley will not lose another game is a monstrous statement. Going undefeated for the year in basketball is really tough ,done only by very few in recent yrs.

Seen where Stone vs Upperman rescheduled,  was really intrigued about this match up.

I either over -estimated York or under -estimated Cookeville,  scratching my head on this one.

Upperman has the most talent(top to bottom) Macon  very close second and York 3rd. LA improved 4. Watertown 5. Dekalb 6. Smith 7. Cannon 8. Upperman and Macon could flip it comes down to coaching, McWilliams to involved wont loosen the reigns, White lets em play so White and his players have advantage, York same they can be a spoiler. Tough tough district dog fight every night.

1-3 Stone,Cookeville, Sparta, flip a coin. predict Stone sweeps Cookeville,  Cookeville splits with Sparta and Sparta splits with Stone. Cookeville needs a post to step up to either split with Stone or sweep Sparta. Then Rhea will upset somebody finish 4. Then Warren .

Very few,  if any players  around Upper Cumberland are Scholarship capable D1 players. UC football is rather weak in grand scheme of things. The kid from Macon was recruited heavily mid- major D1.

Yes White County will have a better chance,but Coach Miller and the Jets thought it would be a cake walk to the glass house and they never made it out of region. Upperman will start to drop off after this year, Stone will too, Cchs will be on the rise.

All's good; however, it all depends on our  new, now existing enemies agenda in our own country , the" American media,  the homeland enemy!

From the outside, this whole recruiting process was odd, most seniors committ before season starts, for a player of this caliber to wait so late  is just strange to me. I sure u locals know more to the story. Did she play big time AAU  exposure 's?

Agree,proper response from TSSAA, and advisement from the lawyers. School will soon be cancelled or no way they go back by first of April, this pandemic has not peaked yet,until downward trend it could be months.
