I agree south Greene player for player not even close to Hampton. To be honest cloudland has much more talent than south Greene but coach found a way to win conference. I fully expect a cloudland and Hampton championship because to me they are the most talented teams but to be fair I have watched more aaa games than a this year so I would say that you guys are correct about coach smith most years, but I do feel south Greene coach has done excellent job this year. Good luck to all area teams.

I am hearing that a couple programs are looking to try and lure carp nothing definite but I have heard a few rumors.

I definitely think jones is comparable to Nichols. I feel jones has a chance to be one of those special players that rarely comes along and I also like he consistently gives god the glory. But I do think Nichols game is a little more well rounded than valentines he is a great athlete and very talented but ball handling and shooting is sometimes shaky. That being said I like to watch valentine play because he plays with passion.

Wasn't trying to be critical and in the past I feel that conference was the toughest in East Tennessee with some very good uh and Unaka teams and boy those Cloudland Hampton games were awesome. Those teams all won 20 or more games and conference games were the toughest .But anyone that said summer town and lead were favorites to beat Hampton were out of their mind those teams had lost 14 games going in to the tournament and everyone that knows basketball knew Hampton should win. That was excellent draws and that's what you want. This conference has been good in the past and Hampton could be very good this year but I feel they are the only team in conference talent wise that could have competed In The conference 3 or 4 years ago.

I would put 1 good 2 Nichols 3 Malik McGee 4 foreman 5 jones 6 Colman 7 valentine 8 grubb east 9 brooks 10 Cornett Elizabethton

Could be adjustments but probably just they have played some very weak opponents that if you look can only beat each other, very weak conference for example south Greene will probably go undefeated. In conference and can't win a non conference game just look at their record the teams in this conference have like a 30 percent winning percentage and it's because they play each other not trying to be critical but this conference is the worst it's ever been.

I feel Tennessee High could be a dark horse come tournament time they could pull an upset or two also think central could be a dangerous team for first round opponent any thoughts on other underdogs

Crockett has some really nice pieces around their stud player they tend to trust them more against lesser competition and go away from that when the game is tough maybe wrong that's just what tends to be the trend of the games I have saw. Mr day is a very good player in his own right and I think they by far have most talent of any team in conference.

Your homegrown kids quitting is one of the drawbacks of getting transfers. Hampton has a ton of talent for single a and a good coach, hope they get back on track just look like they don't have any chemistry for a sustained amount of time. Look really good in short burst offensively but their defense is no where near a state tournament caliber team just an unbiased opinion

Science Hill has decent team with good coach David Crockett has one heck of a player Dobyns Bennett wins league IMO most well rounded

I have watched Crockett several times, they have a very good player and some nice roll players. But anyone who thinks that their turnaround is based on them having a better coach than anybody else in the league don't know anything about basketball
