I wasnt insinuating I was stating it as an actual fact that I have witnessed over the years along with personally knowing individuals that do it for years. but this thread is not about that its about the selection process of the officiating crews for the TSSAA playoffs.

I guess i should have been more clear in the title... so they dont think im whining. Lol

How are the crews chosen for the post season?

You cant just pay and get in. They have to have and maintain a certain GPA. If they dont maintain then they are warned and then removed from eligibility to remain. There are no available spots and havent been for several years. I have personally witnessed parents from other places /moving into area etc shopping schools with their " all american" when they are told that their kid can try out and that there is no guarantee of playtime or position they bolt. Just this past summer a momma brought her top 5 star son in and asked what was going to be done for him to play at Maryville... she was told he can play but there is no guarantee and nothing extra was going to be done or given. They went else where ... and we are glad they did.

Ahh yes another vicarious experience you seek. I guess it sucks to have never beaten Maryville since the come up and play with the big boys days.
