Thought I missed it by the post of meigs coming to the Dawg house

I seen meigs/ grace score and meigs lost but I can't find SG/Hampton score. Hampton must have won but what was the score?

8th time in two season. I know it is not the days of clouldland-Hampton games of old but looking back I would have to say it has been more fun than any matchup in my memories

Playing at home is a huge advantage for Hampton. We went to meigs last year and I have never been in a atmosphere of high school basketball like that before. Standing room only in a gym almost as big as Hal Hernard in Greeneville. Meigs Co fans started in gym at 3:00 o'clock (after being in line a couple hours) for a 6:00 tip off. Students section would put Grainger Co. to shame. They where nice enough to reserve us a section for maybe 100 people. We put 2 coach buses of fans and all those that drove into it. Once game started fans stood and never sit down.......the whole game. Our players seem to be overwhelmed. Got down 17 to 2. Seemed to be over. Then Daniel Lowery run down Levi Woods in open floor and slapped a lay up attempt off block wall that landed at half court. Here come THE REBELS. Came down to a shot that hit front of rim, clock hit zero, bounce up, came down and rolled off front off rim. We lose by 2. Do believe it would be a bigger disadvantage for Hampton to hit the road then it would be for the Rebels. Hope to beat Hampton to play first ever boys home sub state game. That's what we are playing for. Good luck to both teams after championship game.

The refs should be from different regions. Not sure from where at though.. Some calls can always one go way or another but when it is a one possession game those 50 50 calls kill me. Remember to error is human but to showboat while doing it.....uh......and we have seen plenty of that down through the years. Scratch quarter final games and move on to semi finals. Not enough time left!! No game at SG either

Scratch quarter finals.... seen a lot of blown out games last night. .... Move on with semifinals. Better to lose those then finals. I know 4 seeds may have a shot but that would be better than a 2 seed not getting to play in finals. It happen in district. Wait.....Can't do that TSSAA might lose some gate money. Ha ha.

Dogs will have no trouble. Rebels stay out of foul trouble. NG gets hot with the 3 ( opens up the lane for Britton). UH well.......... Not sure about them. Have not seen the same team out of three times playing them this year. But I would not count them out.!

Let's hope so. When playing outside our district I am a big Buc,Huskies,Dog and of course Rebel fan.!!!!

The refs where the worst I have seen all year!! Dogs shot lights out first half. REBELS could not buy a bucket in first half. Difference in 1 and 2 quarters. Made run in 3rd but the little 2 dollar piece of wood with a little piece of metal on it got in the way!!! Look at game film (everybody has it if not ask a player for password) and it is obvious. Like I said in a post earlier do away with the individual awards. Good example #20 for sg is havoc for teams on defence, the kid that drive the lane and kicks it out to open shooter,or the role player that never complains about anything and don't forget old Johnny that goes in practice every day and makes the starting five better and never sees the floor in a game. It is what it is and my opinion or yours will not change a thing. It is just a shame I ruins it for the whole Team!! Even without the terrible refs Hampton was the better team tonight. Hope to see the Dogs again

Tssaa website states that districts to be completed by February 18. If weather is as predicted and games not completed what then?
