Going to log off and may not be back on here until after the game... it's late Tuesday night and beside myself for this game... all joking aside .. good luck to waverly . U guys have an extremely talented football team. It will take our best effort for us to win . For some reason unknown to man that SH plays its best , I feel like SH will win the game ...until then We will be looking for a running clock...just maybe We can catch it before it gets to running...just maybe!!!! #BELIEVE.

I have been high on waverly all year especially after seeing them ...I have watched lots of film on them and I first thought going into this game we didn't have a chance...thought the same about adamsville. But now I really like our chances. We will need the ball to bounce our way a time or two and not turn the ball over . But IMO SH has a serious chance to upset another #1 team. If not , it will all be okay. worse things have happened.

If waverly scores 40 in this game they will win . But the game starts at 0-0 . Those 40 mean nothing but lessons in life. Maybe we will get a first down. Just hoping for a better showing . Just thankful for the opportunity. We get to play the #1 team in middle tn. i would put it on cruise and prepare for next Friday if I was waverly. Our coaches probably haven't even watched any film and I doubt our boys even show up to play. Put her on cruise and sail on into the next round . 2 #1 teams in 3 weeks... wow this stuff is fun...I would be very careful , Straup and crew ain't no joke and OL browder might have have these boys primed on offense..... #believe , I like our chances !! I really do...not going to specify why but I really do. Go lions. ....truth is coaches and players working overtime preparing for this game...if SH loses it won't be from lack of preparation or effort....I assure you anybody can be beat on any given day. If SH finds a wrinkle or two???? We will have us a football game!!! Thankful for this opportunity!! Good luck and hope everyone stays safe!!!

Guys , my least worry is tresvant. We want to get past week 3 with a win . We have our hands full, all we want is a good showing !

TCA...Win or lose..this week or next week or later...It's all ICING...Could really care less TBH.Just having FUN..So much fun getting responses....My LIONS are Winners either way!! We've already done more than most have ever done...SH is TOP KNOTCH program....As far as the kid you mentioned...Never said he wasn't a Beast...Never laid eyes on him...TBH...Not concerned.. our concern is solely on Waverly .I still say Region 5 will be at Cookville..JMO... IT WILL TAKE SH's BEST EFFORT TO WIN FRIDAY but it COULD happen.. Goldsmith was a beast!!! We not the same defense that we where last year either.Way better IMO on D and way more balanced on O. The Strengths we have built on this year is OL and Defense. The D has improved and OL has SIZE and have Bought in. The QB has played 12 Games now and is getting more comfortable,. (DOESN'T have to TOTE this TEAM) These boys have come together as a team...They have learned thru adversity that their is no need to panic. Just do your job..?If they keep it close it's our Game for the taking. IMO this team has GROWN so mush in dealing with Adversity...How Do teams Respond in Tight situations? Most impressive thing I see in this team is their RESOLVE and GRIT in ADVERSITY. Losing at Riverside and at Home really left a mark. SAID it all along. Builds Character!! These MEN picked themselves up and in stead of making excuses went to work.. This Bunch has already written more History than most...I am blessed to have BEEN a part of it by witnessing it...I am excited because I get laughed at for being so BIG of A FAN..I call it like i see it and This team is playing some FOOTBALL right now and WE BELIEVE in them.. Not that they will win but that they will bust their Butt...That MAKES ME AN EXTREMELY PROUD DAD and LIONS FAN...Not Expecting a win at all TBH..Just hopeful and Confident in the Coaches and Players to get the job done.. I would be nervous if i had to defeat them. Because if they protect the ball they can be DANGEROUS to put up some points. Sorry for so much But We are BEYOND excited for the opportunity... FUN FUN FUN.....

my prediction: winner of this game goes to Cookville ! Again that's my gut ! Crazy ? Maybe ? time will tell .......

Laces.. I really don't think you will score 28 on our defense this time around. Capable! Very much so but going on my gut this time around. Had a very bad feeling last time we played. Don't feel this way this time. Not saying SH going to win but I think it's going to be a defensive struggle . With someone making a huge play in the fourth to decide! May be wrong but that's how I feel. Totally different team than any team that SH has ever put on the field. D is the difference. Just hoping for our best execution! Effort will be there. If we get the ball out as quick as we have been. We will have us a football game....look for SH to strike early due to over prosuit on waverly d. Then the momentum will be in SH favor and waverly O will press some due to the magnitude of this game..An early turnover would be huge for SH. If these few things happen then it could be a classic. SH will have to protect the ball and sustain some drives by mixing it up !! Cannot believe it's only Monday!! This is going to be a fun week.. Go lions ! We believe in these young men and coaches. There ain't any quit in them and that Butt whipping we took earlier in year was the best thing ever for this football team!!! Can we do it? Done went 2 rounds further than everyone projected.. said earlier this year the Lions would make some noise. Are they done? We got at least until Friday until the end of that game to make some more. Lions are rolling and loose as a goose having fun on both sides of the ball... fans are loving it too...lmbo.

Had to throw something out there to get some discussion! Lol. U haven't got to explain to me how good y'all are trust me . We all know! Should be a good one. We at SH hope it is. We know we are the underdog!!!

The first meeting against waverly highlighted several areas of our game that needed to be improved on..coaches and players have worked extremely hard to improve in those areas, have they improved enough? Time will tell..tbh the first two quarters where a lot closer than most realize and game got out of hand late....look for the lions to be prepared a lot differently with more focus this time around...if SH keeps the score close late then look for the tigers to be on upset alert...I personally think the lions are going to pull off a shocker...no pressure and no one expects them to even be close...I love the opportunity these boys have...first time to have an opportunity to get to 10 wins...opportunity to shock the state again...the Lions don't have one thing to lose...look for the OL ball coach to have them equipped with a game plan with a defense to support that plan...should be a classic... I have said all along that waverly is best team we had seen going into adamsville game..I really believe this is going to be a very comparable game . A defensive struggle going into the fourth...If SH gets a break or too along the way...look out...#BELIEVE

What an opportunity for the SH Lions ...nothing to lose and everything to gain..no pressure for them . An offense with weapons . Coaching staff as good as there is and a defense that people are stratching their heads about...this team is playing at a higher level than anytime in their young history! This team has made lots of noise and they may not be done...if we get beat we will tip our hats and congratulate waverly...I love being in this position...a win puts SCOTT 's Hill in the semis....think about that a minute!!!!!! Say it again....Scott's hill in the semis....man I really like the sound of that...by the way...I am relating the 40-0 loss to the nation of Israel walking through the wilderness for 40 years...pressing on towards the mark!! We know we got our hands FULL...

I hope waverly comes in on cruise control. Hardly no one thinks these Lions have a chance . But I have complete confidence in the Lions going to waverly and taking home a ticket to go to Memphis for the next round. These boys are playing some football especially on the d . If these boys play d like they have the last two weeks...look for the offense to find a seam in the fourth quarter and the lions sneak out of waverly with a Huge ticket punched...#believe

i am very big on Waverly but something tells me this is going to be a Barn Burner. Look for #10 to create some havoc....predicting Waverly in a close one....ONE to keep an eye on...

This post is in Honor of Veterans Day!! Scott's Hill is what every American believes in HARD WORD , TEAM WORK , CHARACTER , PASSION , ACCOUNT ABILITY , EFFORT , GRIT and PERFORMANCE...NO one knows how far this TEAM will GO , but I assure YOU THESE YOUNG MEN are a TRUE TESTAMENT of what AMERICA is all about. NOT SURE I have ever WITNESSED such a Remarkable Story. This team plays the Game of Football the right way....They will go out as Winners no matter what the score is on the Score Board. I would not bet against them because They will not GO AWAY without being heard from in a CLASS ACT FASHION....I COULD NOT BE ANY MORE PROUD of a FOOTBALL TEAM in the way they handle themselves on and off the Field...Fun group to watch and how they deal with Adversity and defeat. They have used these adversities for Growth. They have always persevered when their backed in a corner...Keep an eye out for the Lions Of Scott's Hill...Super Proud Father of a Scott's Hill Lion!!!!! Thanks to all the Veterans for the Freedoms we have today! God Bless each and Every one! SH will need to protect the ball and runs it offense with a balanced attack. Look for this to be a very good game. Depends on which SH team shows up but I really feel like the Seniors have BIG plans and this is the Second step in the plan. TBH..I really believe you will see a totally different team now, coming off a Huge confidence booster. The Boys have bought in and have reached and got another gear. I firmly believe that this team has what it takes. Call me crazy BUT WE BELIEVE at the HILL..We know that WE will have our hands Full but We believe in these boys. I really believe you'll see a bunch of hungry and determined Lions. #DON'T COUNT US OUT JUST YET...

Scotts Hill will have to brnig their A Game..LC is a very Dangerous team as is Scott's Hill...The first time we played each other The O.L. played well for S.H. If SH can run the ball the way they did the last time and NOT turn the ball over it will be another SH win. Total yards was around 500 to 200 last time.So Based on the Numbers SH moved the ball alot better than LC. ..So SH's formula to winning this game...Playing Solid run Dfence by Containg the Perimeters & TAKE CARE OF THE BALL ..I don't think LC wants to get in a Airing it out type game. Look for Coaching staff to get a few more play makers involved this week as last week ... I say SH wins on the road with another Solid effort from the Defense and a couple of the play makers slipping through a seams and scoring some crucial TD's...The Difference I think is SH's Offense being Versatile this year..JMO

Don't let this Big Win fool you...Scott's Hill came to play Friday Night and they Just displayed a GUT WRENCHING PERFORMANCE...TBH... they will Make ALOT of noise if they can bring that INTENSiTY EACH week.... ADAMSVILLE is a great team and NOT sure The Hill will play at that level again. Mark my words...If the Hill plays like they did Friday night with the Offense making plays by running and passing. With the Backing od that D.They will be a Force. I have said it all year. THESE Boys know WHEN to TURN it UP...How far they go? Not Sure...A assure you NO ONE IN THE STATE has a harder road to travel to Cookville than Scotts Hill...We are VERY aware what we have before us....Adamsville is a VERY GOOD team and WE are VERY Blessed to be playing in week two...Congrats to Adamsville for such a Fine Season.Such Great Sportsmanship Displayed as Well...A program to be admired.....Blessed and Thankful....Super proud of each team for the way they played the game..A CLASSIC HIGH SCHOOL PLAY OFF GAME....Go LIONS!!!!

Waverly is stout...Playoff football..Players arise to the occasion..have to play every week...TBH...I THINK they have a really good shot at Cookville...JMO...

Herderson county has two schools in the TSSAA playoffs advancing into the second round. The Lexington Tigers in 4A and Scott's Hill Lions in 2A. was wondering if any other counties had 2 . A token of some serious Talent and great coaching

Love it how the first post says they owe this bunch one...we at the hill will take that lightly...we will come to Lewis county and lay it on the line . If LC beats us we will take it like men...all I can say is come on Friday night. lc is a big athletic team. Sure we will see some different wrinkles than before. SH will have to protect the ball better than last time to win . We are very proud of our team and if SH plays to their ability they have shown they can play with anyone. They did, I have told people along this journey that these boys are a special group of young men! There is no quit in them . People will think that this was a fluke but these boys know when to turn it up. Adamsville played a very very good game, we just played a little better tonight. I said early in the year that these lions would make some noise before this year was up. Well they have made a statement but I don't think they are done. These boys play the game right. I am super proud to be a Lion. Huge confidence booster because We beat a really really good team , if anyone was at that game and says any different, I question their mind set. Nobody gave these boys anything in that game . A barn burner and hey we come out on top. There was no losers in this game. Cardinals have nothing to hold their head downs about. What a game!!
