Do you really need to ask

Trust me, nothing will happen if he's turned in. They had an out of zone player turned in and nothing happened. Ask Stewarts Cr. H.S. and Blackman Middle what happened when they (self reported!!) had out of zone players.

Still amazed at Riverdale principals tweet (about everyone having a 3 min lapse of judgement) cmon man! 3 minutes!!! What about the other 29min!! This just didn't happen over a 3 min span. Nor did it happen over 32 min. Trust me, it was planned!

Exactly! It's just a public announcement that will never be enforced!!

Did Rutherford County Administrators really think this thru!! Who will oversee this fiasco! Start with this. Coaches supposedly can't have contact with their team. Come on man! Does anyone really believe this will happen? Is Riverdales coach going to move offices? (Right beside girls locker room). He teaches PE in gym, so he will be around girls team everyday. So, does flight need to find a new home or will he still be involved with that right there in his gym, right where all his players will be practicing. This is a sham! Will never work.

Most people would be shocked to know the stuff going on over there. It's really unbelievable that one school is associated with this. There are some professional, honest Girls High School programs in Rutherford Co. that would never compromise their integrity to associate themselves with it. My child was once associated with it and I still regret every minute of it. If you have a daughter that's plays bball, trust me when I say this. You want a coach that has integrity and character above all else, period!

Considering everything that's happened at Riverdale this year, they got off easy!!

Smyrna's coach was not fired! He was suspended same as Riverdales coach.

Wow! Principal says two games and Director says whole yr. Principal really dropped ball on this one! This really works out well, ole cliff can coach and Barrett can take over as recruiting coordinator! They won't miss a beat. Warrior fan! You seem only worried about how many games your team can win than you are with the image of your school and team! Funny how parents get so caught up in winning that they forget all about what's really important. We all know that Riverdale has a player that tried out and played and was zoned for another school. County officials seemed so concerned about this and many schools have gotten in trouble but not Riverdale. Player continues to play. I'm sure that's no big deal to warrior fan, but it's a real big deal. Can't think of anything worse than slipping someone on your team who is not zoned for you. Shameful!!

In Rutherford Co. is there any consequences when a coach knows he has a player out of zone?? Its a pretty well known fact that this is the case at a particular school. Stewart's Creek had one last year and they had to forfeit all their games. But this particular school got away with it. In regards to the punishment for Riverdale & Smyrna, we are just a few years removed from Riverdale Girls Bball being punished for other violations. In my opinion they got off way too easy..
