This was one of the more exciting finishes to a TN state tournament game i've seen. ... Brentwood never gave up and were one loose ball/rebound a way from finishing it out....the rebound went through Brentwoods hands and Hamilton scored......great game by 2 good teams with 2 totally different styles and talent level.....

never said for TN to change their format to Kentucky's just pointing out that people whine way too much about CPA, must have hit a nerve.....now i know i did after looking at your posts, you are up there with KenBrooks in complaining about CPA.......don't let me bother you, go back to your constant whining about CPA and how your team can't compete with them because they have good players......i bet you complain about UK having too many good players too

you are the one who makes it personal when you obsess over your old team and whine about their talent constantly.......i think memphis mitchell has as much talent as CPA this year and they are in class A....now are they as good as a team? probably not....i thought Haywood had more talent top to bottom in the rotation than CPA and they proved it winning state....you are not going to get any sympathy from me on talent, i'm from KY and every school competes for 1 trophy no matter what the size of the school or whether it is private or public.....quit whining and get in the gym and become a better player and team........grow up everyone doesn't need a trophy and it is ok if teams are good enough to get to the tourney consistenlty Going back to 2006 Memphis Mitchel was in the championship game in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2012 in AA and in 2014 and 2015 in A….What do you propose they do about Mitchell, seems like they have too much talent do you think we need to redistribute the talent ?? Liberty won AA in 2006 and 2007 was runner up in 2010 and champions again in 2011....Fulton won back to back in 2008 and 2009....not a new thing to have dominate programs, why are you so concerned and twitterpated about CPA?? I don't root for them but I am so tired of all the whining

Haywood is impressive....Varnardo is a much more all around player than his brother.....but his brother sure gave a lot of people in the SEC fits with his defense

how about 24 classes, there would be more trophies for the kiddos and their helicopter parents....just saying

what is wrong with a 1 minute possession?? if they are holding it play defense and if it takes them a minute to get a shot and they aren't stalling then that is good defense on the other side....hate the infatuation with high scores and the infatuation that we need more trophies....

I forgot to mention that I'm pulling for Haywood, they have a "Delk" on the team, can't go wrong with a Delk from Brownsville......

just saying most of the complaining is coming from teams who can't compete with CPA and they can't compete with the top tier schools from the East or West either.....Then there is Coach Brooks, who I thought was a really good coach, but really diminishes himself obsessing over CPA, let it go, you will have more peace I'm sure.... if you remove the privates, these same schools that can't beat CPA will be complaining constantly about all the open transfer schools out there.....if you watched games today you will notice the Memphis teams are fairly loaded with talent....i think all the complaining is from the "wussification" of society and the "everyone gets a trophy" stuff they teach at schools....Tennessee sports championships are watered down to begin with...KY schools have 1 class at the state tourney..... I'm glad CPA lost and i'm going to enjoy the game with Haywood and Fulton and believe the answer to CPA is to do what Haywood did, go out and beat them....

I think they get too much credit for all this talent....if you go back to Maddux first teams that got attention...the big guy who went to Ole Miss to play football Zeke something was the only DI player they had....when jalen lindsey was there he was really good, but he is not a UK type player he averaged 3PPG at providence after finishing at Oak Hill as a senior. ....Black is a legit player, who will probably be a better college player than Lindsey.....braxton bonds is a good player who made himself into one....he didn't just go out there and wow with pure athleticism.....bradshaw is a good ovc player but again everyone acts like they are UK or something....look at the team outside of Black and the 8th grader and the rest of the team is much more role players, not like this team is 8 deep with incredible athletes....there have been mitchell teams with a ton more talent and athletes in a given year at the tourney....i don't root for CPA, in fact i ususally root for underdogs....i'm not a cpa apologist but i think people get way too worked up about them.....do they get kids to go there because of basketball or football that wouldnt' necessarily otherwise? yes....i think what makes them really good is they have talent but they also play hard and disciplined most of the time.....this year's team was not unbeatable, obviously they were beaten.....i just believe a lot of people buy into the fact that they can't be beaten before they play them.....there have been a bunch of tn teams in the last 20 years that had more talent than them, especially this years team which was a 2 man team in a lot of ways and one of those was an 8th grader....watch memphis hamilton and some of these people constantly complaining should want to outlaw brothers playing on the same team....since the brothers are both top 100 players
