  1. Gaddis defensively is tough to beat any day. But offensively where we are lacking, I believe has got to be in coaching. We struggled against a 5-5 Cleveland team. And a less talented rhea county, we had a great offense but struggled moving the ball, now to me if you have 2 players sign to play SEC ball and 3 more linemen sign to play college ball, obviously the lines talent and ability wasn't the issue. So whose fault is it because of lack of offense? Girlfriends? Text messages? School work? Facebook? The media? ( which is where everyone always points the finger at any other day) No it falls back on the lack of offensive coaching specifically the OL coach.
  2. That's not the case at all. I think Gaddis is one of, if not the best coach in oak ridge history. The question that I was trying to address was the offensive coaching staff and specifically the offensive line coach. With the amount of tools and talent we had, how did we struggle to move the ball?
  3. And since I'm not brilliant, I fail to understand how if we had the tools to succeed against a 5-5 Cleveland team, and a mediocre Rhea county team, What else is there but a lack in coaching ability? This is just my opinion
  4. I guess the most confusing part of all of this for me is the fact that we had the size/speed/ and talent, obviously since 5 players signed scholarships to play college ball. And still with all that we struggled throughout the playoffs to move the ball? How does that not fall back on coaching?
  5. Look if every record at ORHS hadn't been not only broken but blown away running a different system I wouldn't have anything to argue. But the wing T is tried and true. The problem is the lack of speed and lack of coaching to be able to run it. It's the whole reason Tennessee fired fulmer. He ran the I and when he had the team and coaches in order to run it, it was unstoppable. He could tell the other team "here it comes" and they still couldn't stop it.. We had that at OR.. We have since lost that.. And the reason IMO is the lack of coaching and the lack of speed. That's all I'm trying to say
  6. We ran the wing t with Corey Booker and Spencer Gulmire and no one seemed to be complaining about our offense production at all. IMO
  7. I think due to the lack of coaching on the lines is why we struggle in the spread.
  8. The wing T has always workout great at OR as long as we have the speed on offense to run it.
