Now that the 7 on 7 season is over, has anyone seen what the Tigers are looking like with those big linemen and upper pads on?

I think this team may surprise some people. Ive seen them a couple of times this season and was very impressed.

Everyone can speculate the outcome of the season, each hometown has fans that think they are going to win it all. There will always be haters and someone trying to put down the other teams RB, QB, DB etc.,the one thing you can depend on is that these young men are going to give it everything they have for their teams, towns and fans every time they step out on the field! GOD BLESS and GO BIG BLUE!!!

Ray Hampton Stadium football field and practice field have new sod. Alot of good changes continue to develope @ WCHS football. The Football boys helped lay it down, they continue to invest into the program alot more than just practice and working out. Keep it up!

The first step of understanding is comprehension. Read the post again and you will see that our coach is developing these young men into a powerhouse. Read above that post and you will see again the definition of powerhouse. Comprehend!

The definition of Powerhouse: one having great drive,energy or ability: an atheletic team characterized by strong aggressive play.

This 2015 Football team is going to have a mixture of young and seasoned young men. The 7v7 tournaments this summer will be interesting to see also with the development of some young linemen Waverly should have a great program for years to come. Excited to see the program that Mcconnell continues to develope into the Powerhouse that is Waverly Football.

This should be interesting, Im curious to see if Stewart Co. can can keep up with Waverlys fast paced offense and if Waverly will be able to step it up and not allow so many yards on the ground. From what i see Wavo is having a tuff time stopping the run.

The great thing about that performance is that not all the starters were on the field. Cant wait to see what they look like when it all comes together.

Waverly scrimmages Harpeth Friday night @ 6 in Waverly. Should be a very interesting showing. Come on out and see what the fuss is about.

1st week of Spring Football has almost came and gone. Has anyone seen how the Tigers are looking? With the QB and a couple of WR gone are we filling the holes?

From what i see, Loretta runs alot of power football, power I and single wing. Scotts Hill will spread the field out and runs alot of jet sweeps. Parsons Riverside has a Good QB and not only can he pass he will run the ball as well. Waverly has its entire line back from last year, its backfield and the defensive side of the ball is going to be rediculous. Spring practice starts next week, cant wait! Blue White Tiger Pride! GO BIG BLUE

OK, anyone else out there, looks like Hickman has the district locked up. Lewis, what about you guys? Riverside? anyone else?

Do we have anyone out there that can respond about any of the teams that Waverly will face this 2015 season?

I believe they will surprise alot of people through out the state. Alot of size,skill and talent. The community is behind them and the hype is already in the chatter of the businesses around town. GReat feeling!

Coach Mcconnell has those boys ready to play. Very smart coach, great staff and alot of talent there as well as a ton of young talent coming up. Im not sure about the other schools in the district, i can only speak for Waverly, last year was just the start of something GREAT!
