  1. Didnt yall have one Win it a few years back?
  2. How on Gods green earth was Stanfield not selected from Waverly? Looking at the young mans numbers, no one on this list came close. That young man was a beast
  3. I'm just plainly stating what i have observed. I don't have a dog in the race. I could care less about what Waverly says or anyone else for that matter. Just basically quoting what I've personally observed.
  4. I was at the Waverly Loretto game. As i said in a previous thread, both teams are decent but not great. Waverly has struggles with containment and coverage. Loretta has a decent running game and a decent Defense. Just my opinion but after what ive seen from the west and middle Tennessee, Loretto will not be able to hang with the top 3 out of the west. Have a good week.
  5. This thread is HILARIUS! Fans will be fans and i understand passion. Tonight's game will be a good game but lets all be honest with ourselves, Both of these teams are decent ball teams, neither is great. This game will be very entertaining and has a lot on the line. I believe i might just make the trip to watch it. Safe travels
  6. What other passing teams have Waverly played this year?
  7. Against MP. Defensive backfield was not impressive. Free Safety was the only good cover guy, JMO
  8. I Haven't seen Loretto play this year. But Ive seen Waverly and a few other teams this year. If Loretto is a passing team, that will cause problems for Waverly. The home team definitely has an advantage due to the distance in travel. If Waverly doesn't start out slow (which they have a tendency to do) they have a good chance of winning this game, if they get behind its going to be a long night. Good luck and safe travels
  9. Waverlys main issue is they have played a weak schedule. Fairview has been tested. Defense on both sides is pretty talented with a slight edge going to Fairview due to Waverlys weakness in secondary. The offense for Waverly could pose a challenge to Fairview if the passing game is on point. Fairview will try to shut down 20, can they do it?.... We'll see. Prediction: Waverly 24 Fairview 21
  10. This game will be decided by Whitehouse defensive scheme and play.. In my opinion if they stack and edge blitz Whitehouse wins. If not they lose
  11. Lets face it Waverly's schedule was weak and i was not that impressed with WH. EN is 1 dimensional and Dyersburg has a plethora of backs and will surprise you with the passing game. I dont have a dog in the race I just call it like I see it. Ive been wrong before i just dont think i will be this time. it will be a close game but in the end i think Dyersburg pulls it out.
  12. EN run ends this Friday. Dyersburg's defense will slow that run game way down and you cant go into a game this caliber, one dimensional.
  13. Per my observation of both teams ( i dont have a dog in the race) WH doesnt have the horses to pull this one out. EN will not be challenged until it meets The West. And per my observation of the teams in the West, EN's run ends there.
  14. The atmosphere will be a huge factor in this game. Also adjusting to true speed. The only issue i see Waverly having in this game is off tackle and outside coverage of speed. if they can stop that Waverly wins. I also believe East is going to send more pressure than Waverly has seen all year.
  15. Nothing but respect for the Tide. Until someone knocks you off you’re #1. This all boils down to execution, when you’ve made it this far the team with the least mistakes moves on. I hope Waverly has the least! Have a good day and stop all the bickering ; )
  16. One dimensional is if we can’t complete passes that leaves us 1 dimensional. I believe if we dial in our passing game this week we stand a better chance of keeping their offense off the field. If not it could get ugly.
  17. Explain exactly what this means Mr High School football guru. I said what I said.
  18. Waverly hasn’t faced a team of this caliber all year. For Waverly to keep it close passing accuracy has to improve and early game play calling/ reads must improve. If you go in this game 1 dimensional you’re in big trouble. Peabody must not overlook the Tigers. They are a hard nosed football team and when all cylinders are clicking they are dangerous. I think the Tigers are going to keep it closer than a lot are predicting. This game will be a low scoring affair. Pray for no serious injuries and a clean game. Thanksgiving practice is a great thing.
  19. I’m comparing Teams. Not age groups. The team that played Peabody the first time had more talent than this 2020 team. Line Teft, Dodd, Hensley, Rumsey. Skilled -Cochran, Octavian, , Graham Stanfield, Don’t get me wrong I love this team and they are very talented but in my opinion not as talented as 2018. I respect everyone’s opinion. I’m ready to get this game going Friday night and put another W on the board.
  20. I think if that team had these coaches it would’ve been rediculous
  21. Don’t agree. Compare player to player. O line D line receivers corners etc.
  22. Riverside is always tough. I just don’t think they have enough horses to beat Waverly this year. This Waverly team is one of the most balanced teams I’ve seen. Defense is stout and for the most part very disciplined
