I’m happy for east and I will always cheer for my hometown team. But they’re in for a reality check this week. Alcoa isn’t Dyersburg.

As a East Nashville native I’m gonna be honest. Alcoa will pick the score. I’m going with 42-0.

The Firebirds eventually turned the ball over in Tullahoma territory as the comeback bid fell short with a 24-21 loss. Brown missed last week's game against Hardin County due to a suspension but Jayden Robinson was able to carry the load in a 31-21 win. With Brown's return this week, the Firebirds get their top offensive threat back in a highly-anticipated rematch of the Region 5-4A championship.
