Big rivalry game,homecoming at Meigs, class of 95 state runner-up team having a 20 year reunion before the game, who ya got in this one ?

10 Seniors but not all of them play ,31 Junios, 10-12 Sophomores and around 32 Freshmen

I wasn't taking anything away from Oneida in my previous post, I just don't think Greenback will commit those mistakes we made , they also have more offensive fire power than us , you guys have a good , tough, team but I'm simply giving my thoughts on the game from my side of the field and defiantly not taking anything away from your team , we had our chances and couldn't get it done that's all , have a great season

I'll take Greenback, Meigs should have beaten Oneida, we fumble it to them in the 20 to set them up for their only score in regulation and then we fumble it away on their 2 before the half which cost us a "W" in regulation then got an offensive pass interference call in OT which took away a TD

What a battle , two powerful teams who took each other to the limits, 2 MC fumbles prove to be the difference , one that happend on the Oneida 1 yard line ,no time to dwell on that though the season is just getting started, congrats to Oneida

I'm gonna be full of crow before kickoff, I was right to start with it is BBQ on the menu tonight , never listen to a women !

Correction tonight is Hamburger night not BBQ and it $7.00

In regards to the food , the girls basketball team will have BBQ sandwiches ,chips,desert and drink for $8.00 for the fans to buy , the best part for the players is that both teams will be fed after the game tonight courtesy of Waste Connections garbage services and landfill, grilled burgers cooked on the converted garbage truck that you may have seen at the UT tailgate party's ( the truck has a built in grill and outdoor kitchen ) = good football and good eatin

I'm curious to see how many players Onida brings to Decatur , also how many kids play both sides of the ball ? In my opinion this could be the determining factor due to the Tigers having only 1 that plays both , just my thoughts !

Meigs has 84 on the roster and only 1 who plays both ways , that was a huge factor in the win Friday night at sweetwater, we have our work cut out for us I'm sure but I'm taking my Tigers in a close one

Meigs County 7-0 over Tellico McMinn Central 12-0 over Sequoyah Sweetwater 12-0 over Polk

Meigs got a good test tonight in a hard hitting tough nose game with Sequoayah ,the game was a tie 2-2 , prayers for several injured players,Meigs had a freshman DB get hurt pretty bad , either a broken hip or dislocated hip and Sequoyah had 2 players with broken ankles or foot

Meigs beat a weak Lookout Valley team 7 TDs to 0 tonight , LV only dressed 20 players compared to Meigs who have 82 , we have a toughr opponent coming to Decatur on Friday night in class 3A Sequoayah game time is 6 pm
