Mckamey at one time was in the running for the head job at OS before the former coach was hired. This ole man wishes the principal had hired him when he had the chance too.

I am a loyal Oliver Springs fan and i think with GCA coming in 0-2 it does not bode well for us. I just hope we can keep it close, we gotr a much much improved team this year. I hope its a good close game and most of all injury free. I know Mckamey is a heckava coach and his staff is also, but our staff aint too shabby either. I believe Hammock, and Green may have a little something for the Rams. I wish good luck too both teams. And if the laws of the jungle were in play i would say Bobcats always eats rams for supper. I believe we will.shock a lot of people. There is a new and improved attitude among the team. Just gotta stay healthy we dont have alot of depth. Some freshmen are gonna have tp step up as well some sophomores.

I do agree they got tired real quick, and we dont have a lot of depth on the line some freshman have to step up. As far as the language im sorry for that. I know the coaches dont condone that kinda talk. If they were to here it im sure there would be some seal crawls on monday for them. What numbers was it? BD6913 Why do you not like the scheme? It looks a lot like Harrimans. Im not one to blame any official for the out come of any game, but you have to admit the horse collar on 56 was a very bad call, he had all jersey never touched the shoulder pad. Plus laying on the ground 2 times didnt help either. I believe with all my heart that we have the right coaches, and players to make a little noise. I think alot of teams will be overlooking us.

I think we will make a little noise this year in the region. The kids have to learn how too win and not get tore up when we fall behind. They have been beat down for so many years they all have too learn how to win all over again. This old guy believes in the kids and more importantly the coaches. Larry and staff are doing a great job.

we have a mexican joint about 3 miles from the school on the main highway going toward oak ridge, it is on the right side of the highway i think its called los trios or something like that.. be safe on your travels

We did in fact give them all they wanted. They were expecting us too lay down on them and we smacked them in the mouth. One thing about this team is they LOVE too hit. Yes Larry has had several good middle school teams, His teams have played for the conference championships the 2 years. Lost it 2 years ago to spring city at spring city from a little home cooking, and won it last year over the same spring city team at home. Beat them by 10 i think. He has assembled a real good staff this year.Almost everyone on the staff is an alumnis of OSHS, the OC is a Clinton grad,special teams coach is from lake city. All the kids respect all the coaches and will give there all for them. We are excited for the season too start..
