Aside from the Karns game the other night, Green and team have had an amazing ability to make halftime adjustments, and come out super strong in the second. The student section must have stayed home and done homework last night though as it wasn't as nearly impressive as usual.

Sorry about that. You took it wrong though. I was not at all implying the whole team was involved in this cowardly, perverted incident. Absolutely not. I was merely implying that ALL the boys were on the team, and this will be one of the toughest life lessons the "good" kids will ever learn, but I honestly feel cancelling the season is the only option. I can't understand why they got to play even a single game after this. The fact that high school kids were in a cabin alone? Crazy in itself, and I'm guessing this was a decision an adult made. MY team - coaches, players, and anybody that was a part of it would have slept in the closest room to the gym that we could have ALL thrown a sleeping bag down in. It was a basketball tournament not a "getaway". There has been some good civil discussion through this, and it's a GD shame we even have a post to talk about it in.

Great game for sure, and I think the Owls will put it to Rhea next week. I think some we had a night off with some key players, and I would take a backhanded shot at play calling, but that's a dead horse. Best team last night won. Nobody cares about "how many" kids, titles, or dollars when it comes to Webb. Some Oak Ridge fans need to borrow a page from one of the greatest ever when asked about his lack of end zone celebrations. He replied that a coach once told him to "act like you've been there before, and that you will be back again." I think the when the run gets shut down (Farragut) we have failed to utilize the spread as much as we should have this year, and the lack of polishing a "double threat" offense will be obvious.
