  15. I understand that the results of the Duals would be nice to see, but the scores were kept by hand this year, so with that in mind if anyone want to know a specific out come of a match up please ask. To type up every dual on Coach T would be way to much to ask for, next year the Best of the Best will be on Trackwrestling.com. I appreciate all the feed back and support for this great tournament. I am always available by phone at 574-215-8586, if you have any questions. Again Thank you for all your support.
  16. This years Best of the Best dual was one of the best if not the BEST event in Tennessee to date. It was won by the EAST (BEAST) Team who took down the Champs, the South. This years teams had: 120 plus Wrestlers 50 plus State High School and Middle School State Medalist 7 TSSAA State Champion Super 32 Medalists Fargo National Champion Fargo National Placers Prep Nationals Champion Prep Nationals Medalists 2 NHSCA Nationals Champions NHSCA Medalists Multiple National Tournament Champions and Medalists. The Number 1 and 2 Coaches in the State. In my opinion this event is the premiere Dual in the State, and that does not even take into consideration that it was only a second year tournament.
  17. These qualifications are put in place to allow for wrestlers and coaches a clear road map of how to go to Cadet and Junior Nationals in Fargo. They were not put in place to stop anyone from going. It also gives the Board a clear understanding of who to choose if a particular weight class is over the limit of wrestlers, being a State Organized Event. I hope this clears up any confusion, if there are any other questions feel free to call either Ben Bowers or Derek Harrison with questions or concerns. Thank you.
  18. All qualifications have been voted on by the Executive Board. Any issues with the following qualifications may be brought to the Board for consideration and vote. Fargo is a state organized tournament, so all Coaches wanting to attend must fall into the criteria below: 1. Bronze Coaching Certification AND 2. National Teams Coach: ie, Schoolboy, Cadet, and Junior Teams OR 3. If NOT a National Team coach, must attend 1 of 3 Conference Calls. These calls will instruct prospective coaches on conduct and interaction with officials, according to the guidelines set forth by USA Wrestling. It also will allow the Tennessee Wrestling Federation to express and make clear all the expectations and guidelines coaches will be held to while at the tournament. If the above qualifications are met, the Executive Board will vote on who will represent Tennessee as coaches at Fargo. Any questions or clarification on above guidelines, please contact: Ben Bowers @ 574-215-8586 BMBowers@aol.com TWF Chairman and National Teams Director Derek Harrison 423-593-8348 derekharrison@sevier.org TWF Vice Chairman and National Teams Coordinator
