Unreal stats. Y’all have been waiting on another Marco to show up. lol Ben didn’t get used enough in the previous years like he is this year to have them kinda stats. Good thing Mr. Football is a season award and not a career award. lol

Lol that is crazy. Don’t hold me to it but I read Marco rushed for 2447 on 267 carries. 9.1 a carry. Ben may run for that and he is only sitting at 130 carries right now. He is rushing for 14 YPC. That’s why I said closet to Marco.

I mean I agree Marco is probably on another level but I said close, and Ben hasn’t played a few 4th qtrs this year. But really I’m just talking about how fast and strong Ben is. Marco was so strong and fast as well. Do you remember how many touches did Marco have to get that many yards?

Hype is something that you have in the preseason. He is living up to the hype. I understand Dawson White will probably win it because his team is undefeated but Ben is the best player in single A & does the most for his team. His defense of stats are just as good as well.

He has had 1 bad game. He is averaging 14 yards a carry on the year. 14!! I don’t think anybody should be fired when they have a kid with 1800 yards on the year. Somebody is doing something right.

If Ben Franklin don’t win Mr. football they need to quit doing the award. There isn’t 1 other kid in Single A you would pick to start your team with. I’ve been going to games a long time, the closet thing to him I remember is Marco Dailey.

That is legit but he has over 200 carries. Franklin has 1500 right now on 90 less carries than him.

Only played a handful of snaps on offense in the second half, so he basically didn’t play the whole second half on either side of the ball.

At one point in the game both starting backs, TE and Qb was on the sidelines cramping so even if Franklin was already out they had 3 other key players out as well. When Franklin was in the game on defense Forrest didn’t have an answer for him, he didn’t play 1 snap of defense the whole second half.

I would say depth was an issue, and If Franklin could have played a full game they would have won IMO. It looked like the offense was struggling to find guys to put on the field during the game due to all the cramping. But again we lost so have to move on!

The heat really got them the other night. I think Cornersville wins the other night if wasn’t for all the cramping, but they didn’t so on to Collinwood.

I agree they should be it would be a great game between the two. It was when the the 2017 seniors were in 8th grade whatever year that would have been, it was a blowout.

Wouldn’t have even been a close game either year. They knew better than not to play those years, after our middle school blew them out with the same kids.

The 2011 & 2012 games were the best overall games to watch in this series of recent memory. High scoring and close games. Obviously winning in 2021 was awesome too.
