Dawson stats was better than 165 yards rushing 2 Tds and 15 tackles?

No doubt, definitely battled tested going into the state championship game. I’m not sure if y’all’s new Qb isn’t better than Cassidy was. Who was the best one of the 3 in your opinion?

I mean not as many as you would think , but he is 6’4 245lbs and is faster than anybody on the field so I think most people would give him the ball a pretty good bit. 18 a game. They have other pieces to go along with him though that can make things happen.

Franklin stats Offense: 176 carries for 2184 yards 12.5 YPC 31TDs Defense: 11 sacks , 5 forced fumbles , 37 tackles for loss.

Hard to win a game with 4 starters out in Single A football. So here is some logic for you.

Should have been a 2 seed.

I think it could go the other way as well. Cornersville isn’t a normal 4 seed with a Mr. football candidate.

This is definitely not a 1 vs 4 match-up. I think Makenzie could have gotten the bad end of the stick. Not saying Cornersville will win but this game will be close.

If everyone plays Cornersville wins, yes buts let’s not get on here the blame kids or certain individuals. Mistakes happen , they are all still learning and maturing. Just have to learn from it and move on to Makenzie. This season is far from over if the coaching staff and the boys buckle down this week and get a good game plan together. Another thing that didn’t help we played behind the sticks all night too. May have been the hardest I’ve seen Ben run all year, he took 11 people to tackle him on almost every run.

113 yards 3 touchdowns on the night. But It was a passing night with Woodard throwing for 177 yards and 3 TDs, With them selling hard out for the run.

I can agree with that too. I never said originally that Dawson shouldn’t win Mr football, I said they both should be up for it and it’s crazy that they are in the same region. They should take both sides of the ball in consideration too.

So we are discrediting City’s state championship because they have 6A kids playing 1A ball.

Yes who else has those kind of stats on that many carries. And if you want to go the 10-0 route we had 2 of the best players in 2018 , scoring like 40 a game and giving up 3 a game. Nobody stopped Eli Woodard or Cam Whitaker all year. Did they win Mr. football? No

Okay nobody said I was against White winning it? I vouched for him. But Ben is Mr football good. The kid has better stats than anyone else across the board.

He would have more than 130 carries if the coaches were trying to “pad his stats” also he hasn’t played in the 4th qtr in 3 or 4 of the games.

Dawson and Franklin are the 2 best players in single A and are in the same region yes. Franklin has division 1 offers and a PWO to a SEC school. Franklin is averaging almost 14 YPC, 14!! Dawson is averaging a little over 12 YPC and has passing yards. Both are super good. Probably couldn’t go wrong with either choice on MR football but it has to be one of these 2 to win the award.

1) The dogs need a win for seeding purposes so they can’t rest him. 2) It’s not taking him a ton of carries to get to that 300 mark. He has done it 4 times already. 3) Mr. football award won’t account for him resting a game. but I do agree with you if the game does get out of hand , rest him towards the end of the game.

This one should be closer than what people expect it to be because “Forrest doesn’t let one guy beat them” they say.

Franklin 18 YPC last night, and that line was a wrecking ball last night. Woodard had 2 passing touchdowns last night as well, looks like things are starting to click on all cylinders for this offense.
