Right, just like they had on you. Ha ha... That's a good offense. But they housed some of those long plays on you right? #5 had a long screen for a TD right? We caught him... Miss the point if you want, but we're faster this year. And more physical.

Page was hitting Posey in the mouth last year, he threw 2 picks directly because of it... I would argue that speed was the deciding factor last year, and we're improved in that department. Ask Giles, they got caught on every long run Friday.

We played each other close in the Riverdale 7 on 7. That's it, but I did get to see the new QB and transfer kid... Do you think your sophomore QB is better right now than Posey was at this time last year?

That's good to hear... Still doesn't change what I think Neither did losing to Fairview and Forrest, although those were big time eye openers. Maybe it was just what we needed.

Liggett is a big boy! He may have top end speed for football, but #2 from SH has track speed. Liggett is like Eddie Lacy and #2 is like Lesean McCoy. Both are ballers, but speed kills! Who is better is still not a question to me, #2 is special.

There's more to a team than just the starters... Bench depth, amount of support, team comradery, heart, how well scheme matches the players, coaching staff, etc... I've got an obvious connection and bias with Page, but that's still what I believe. We will see Oct. 28th

I don't know what thread this topic was under, but whoever said #5 from Giles was a better RB than #2 from Spring Hill doesn't know football... It's not close at all, not even a little bit.

Time to update those playoff match ups... I still believe my statement from the beginning of the year. Page is the best TEAM in the region. Emphasis on TEAM... Friday night was one of the best team wins I've seen in high school football. Defense, Offense, and Special Teams all stepped up when needed,and it didn't look like any of the players panicked when things weren't going our way. Great win Patriots!

Yea that was never going to happen for us. Sadly, we've had a few season ending injuries this year. I don't know about any new injuries though. I think what Coach Rathbone said on FreeAgents podcast about our injury situation was accurate.

Here to eat crow 🙋 Forrest was better than us last night. I think both Dlines got beat up pretty good, but we still can't hit open WRs. So we're going to be up and down until the coaches can get that fixed. Forrest running game is still impressive

I hear theres some holes in that East defense. I think Osteen will not only find them, but he'll have the athletes to make them pay. I will say that I have no idea about the QB situation at East. Anyone have any insight?

We under achieve against a fiesty Forrest team with impressive play upfront every year. Much respect. With improved play upfront for Page, I don't see any advantage for the Rockets this year. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't see a Mr. Football type of RB last year either.

I agree with most of that, but Forrest has never had a better team than Page. It's proven, never... These Patriots are young, but have a chance to be better than last year IMO. Page 35 - 7

Great win Page! It took all 3 phases vs a much improved Spring Hill team to get that win. This team just needs to keep growing each week and they can take the region! Sn: How impressive was that Freshman RB?!
