You people come on here and don't know what you are talking about. The QB separared his shoulder AGAIN against Halls. The kid took a beating the week before because McKamey refuses to stay in a shotgun. At least he let the backup run it against Meigs. We will see how it works against Powell next week. These poor kids have to play a perfect game to overcome McKamey's incompetent coaching....been that way for 3 years. Even his assistants have not "bought in" to his sorry system. The D gave up 10 points to a good, well-coached AC team. McKamey's sorry special teams cost them 14 points in that game. Then again 9 points against Halls. Clinton was 3 TDs better than Halls. As far a quitting. Yes two did quit. And 5 or more have threatend quitting all year. Can you blame them? McKamey basically head-butted two kids last night. Always the kids fault....he never takes responsibility for a loss. But what I saw last night was the same pathetic disorganization, penalties, and gadget plays.

Again you have some good young players, but Clinton has overall better talent this year. And thier coaches this year blew it. In 2009, Clinton had far better talent (should have won state) and yet lost to AC in playoffs that had superior coaching. Good coaches do not blow 21 point leads at the half. Teams in NCAA are 188 W and 3 L (98.4%) this year when leading by 13 or more in fourth qtr. Two of the 3 are TN. Why, becasue Botch Jones can't in-game coach. What do you think the area High School % would be? Probably comperable. And how many would blow a 21 lead at half. I cant recall when I have ever seen that. That is poor coaching, wheter you or any others will admit.

That was not my arguement. That is AC is well known for major upsets. You may not know, but you are actually maing my point. The only reason AC beat the undefreated Clinton team in 2009 was becasue AC had better coaches (Price Twins). And this friday AC had the better coach (DG). And again you are lucky you dont play CC this year because not only do they have better talent this year, the also have better coaches.

When a team is winning 27-6 they must close out. The only way you can lose a lead like that is for the coaching to make poor decisions. Just like TN today. They blew another big lead. Everyone with any sense in all across the USA knows Butch blew it. And Kerr blew it the other night. Bottom line is the Price Twins would have finished that game. By-the-way, your lucky you dont play them this year becasue they would beat you.

Clinton aint "moving up" that is for sure. And it won't get any better if Kerr stays. What makes you say someone is a good coach that loses to Campbell County and Anderson County, who both have less overall talent? What is his record? Daddy's wins at Halls dont count.

That was last year. I stated: if Price was calling plays for Clinton he would have taken that same Dragon team and beat the current Mavs by 4 touchdowns. And certainly would not have blown a 21 point lead. That is the coaching difference between Kerr and Price. Are you telling me your great Mav team would came back down 21-6 to Clinton last night if Price, or let's say Maryvilles Coach was on the other side line as the Dragon Coach? You probably think Butch Jones had a great day today in the Swamp.

I did not say that. What I said is when you are winning 27-6 and lose.....it is coaching. Obviously the D was good enough to hold them to 6 points in the first half. However, if the other team runs the ball and controls the clock and your D is on the field too much because your coach does not understand "ball control" then they will be gassed. Not to have a running game at this stage in the year is inexcusible and downright poor coaching.

This has to be one of the worst coaching performances I have ever seen in my life. Kerr should step-down and resign. Everyone blames the Defense, but you don't help the opponent out by not running the clock with a 21 point lead, and pretending you are Chip Kelly or Butch Jones with a fast paced hurry up O. If you stall or go 3 and out, it puts too much pressure on a Defense. These morons must be going to too many Chip Kelly coaching clinics. Like the idiot Middle School O coordinator coach they had as 8th graders that thought they could run the Auburn offense (water-down albeit) becasue he was a sorry Auburn fan that loved Cam Newton. Where do they find these morons? Embarrasing. Kerr will never succeed at Clinton. You run an offense based on the talent you have. However, that does not mean you become one-dimensional and refuse to run the ball. This type of Offense results in a defense that is soft, cant stop the run (why cause you dont practice it in your practices), and therefore your D is completely gassed by the 4th quarter. I feel sorry for the QB and D that is not helped by the poor coaching.

When you have a 28-6 lead at the half it is inexcusible to lose a game. You adjust and run the clock and play smart ball. That falls on the head football coach and his O coordinaor. You can't be one deminsionsal with absolutely no running game and win football games at any level. Sad thing is that there is more than one kid that could fill the roll as a RB on this team. You dont help your defense and put presssure on them by passing every play. 3 and outs and by the 4th qtr D is gassed. Bottom line is the program has declined since Gaylor left. Cattlet ran it in the ground. McKamey left for Grace and so did a lot of the talent (continues today). And Shattuck and Kerr could not coach thier way out of a wet paper bag. Shattack should have won the state in 2009 with all of that talent. Those kids went undefeated from hoopers to Middle School. And he got outcoached by the Price Twins. No disipline, 15 yard penalties every game. Lack of discapline continues with Kerr. Clinton had a chance to get the Price Twins and instead they hire Kerr because of his Daddy. If Price Twins were at Clinton this team would be undefeated. The earlier poster talks about how the Middle School is turning around. Maybe so, but who in thier right mind would send thier kid to play for this staff? I feel sorry for the seniors and the QB that has to try to win games on his own becasue the coaches don't know enougth to help him succeed. If Price had him he would pass for 300+ every game. I have never seen a staff that gets so little out of thier talent. Kerr should be embarrased. If I were him I would step down. I cant recall the time I saw a team blow at 21 point lead at the half. Even Butch Jones would not do that.
