Wanted to hear peoples' take on lineman having rules on gap scheme plays.
Some teams have hard fast rules(Gap/Down/Backer) (Gap/Down/On) where others do not.
Also be interested in opinions on pulling guards in gap scheme. Single back power? buck sweep?

How are the bulldogs going to fare this evening in their scrimmage against Clinton? Don't know a ton about either.

Fax’s they’re acting like this is his first rodeo.
Its people like you who glorify a coach that "lives in the gray" that have gotten high school football to the place it is where if a kid is unhappy with a current situation, they don't have to fight for a spot, there will be a coach out there to capitalize off of it instead of making the kid learn the valuable life lesson.
Glorify this coach and coaches like him who seek the short term benefit rather than the life long ones for their own selfish reasons. And say that everyone does it. Its sad that all of this is common place but when do you decide to stop acting like these "rodeos" are cool. Grow up peter pan

Well, has anyone watched Clinton during Spring Practice? I've heard from a couple of people that they are loaded with talent and have the potential of having a special year.
How has the defense looked? That's what my main concern is this year.
I had a friend who has been to almost every practice. He said they do seem to have a ton of potential in terms of having talent, and the defense seems to be doing well even though it is just spring. I think the important thing for this team is the battle between the ears. I think it is going to be important for this team to set realistic, achievable goals week in and week out to strive to be the best Clinton they can be. It will be more about blocking out how good this team is "supposed" to be and the actions that take place on Fridays. My friend overheard people at practice saying "just be us" and "do your job". If they can be humble and driven relentlessly, they can win enough games to make it to post season and host a playoff game in Nov. and that is a goal I'd like to see this team get to.

I do not think you know the entire situation. I have refrained from commenting because of obvious reasons. The kid in question left and nobody wishes him ill will but in my understanding he is not wanted back for previously stated reasons.
Understand. Won’t push the issue, we just don’t want anyone in the Knoxville area taking advantage of the rules and an apparent bad situation

then the question is does anyone have the gumption to prove it and turn it in.
I’ve heard I think Gallatin is prepared if necessary.

No.
He never played in a game for Catholic, since he was injured in the pre season. He has no athletic record at Catholic.
No issues with eligibility.
Not even a JV game?

And if the Smith kid lived in the house zoned for Bearden when he attended Catholic, wouldn’t that make that address wouldn’t make him eligible unless Bearden is 20 miles away from Catholic right?

if that's true, its pretty clearly against tssaa rules.
I’m sure it wouldn’t be very hard for one to prove it’s true or not

The kid from Gallitan just moved to Knoxville, but his family still goes to Gallitan. I wonder how one explains to Tssaa the need for one kid to make the move while another previously in-house sibling didn’t?
-
But you are right, I think that apt. is zoned for Bearden

As far as I am aware, he and his mom moved down to Knoxville, and they were zoned for Bearden High School. It just happened; there’s no real conspiracy theory behind it. His mom had to move because of her job, and where she moved, their house is zoned for Bearden High School. Now, I’m sure Josh Jones played a key role in him not going to a school like Catholic or Webb, but the whole Bearden conspiracy is pretty stupid. He's zoned for the school, has completely moved from his old house, and has been attending Bearden since December.
I think there is pretty good evidence his sister lives in the same house he moved from still currently which wouldn't be a boneafide move I don't believe. Also, I'm pretty sure he is just staying in his own apt. behind the school.

I'm just waiting to see how they handle to Gallaton situation....
Isn't the rule to vacate the previous residence completely?

I would love to know exactly what was said or done to make Coach X so mad.
From what I have heard it was multiple things over time that caused the situation to unfold. People tell me that X would complain about Keith's toxic nature towards players on the team. X's points whether unfounded or not may of been valid, but to display the anger after a game in front of kids is the wrong way to approach the situation

It's good to know that you're serious and I don't expect you to divulge your source, but how accurate do you think your source is?
I heard the next HC is Dwight Hundley

Yeah, I know you....
Not to many rockstar ILBs at WHS in 1999 like yourself....
Who doesn't know you? You averaged like .5 tackles per game. Coach Rogers loved you though

He’ll be there tonight but you won’t get the answers to those questions but I’m sure he’d love to hear your opinions on the subject. I directed at least 8 people on Saturday to him. For anybody who knows him, he’s very approachable and I’m sure he’d love to speak to you. Tell him Little brother sent you.

darn right I will stand up for David Clary and Coach Gaddis. RWR! Coach Gaddis has been good to me. Clary works his bottom off to bring the Oak Ridge Community Wildcat sports,
Awesome show of loyalty Willie!

Ah I know I look old for my age but can’t I be Gaddis’s younger brother? He’s 12 years older than me. I’ve never considered myself to be a media guy but thank you for listening.
One of the differences between what I do and what keyboard people such as yourself do is I am willing to sign my name to my thoughts and opinions. Same with live radio. It’s out there for all to hear. What’s your name by the way and how do you know things ?What a classic "show your face" comment DC. You don't look old, its the idea that you feel the need to stand up for Joe just like Willie.

That is the farthest thing from the truth and your sources are incredibly wrong or just starting to stir things up. The job officially closes Sunday. There are between 40 and 50 applicants for the job from all over Tennessee and the country. They will begin the process next week. Coach Gaddis has no intentions of being the coach and he loves what he’s doing now. Feel free to call or visit him. His door is always open.
David ClaryDC you need to focus on the radio and stop acting like your Gaddis’s older brother. All you know is what joe tells you and everyone knows that Joe sells bull all day long. The truth is that many have already turned down the offer to coach and the job is not what it used to be anymore. He is more worried about stealing a coach from a neighboring high school up I-75 in CC or in Clinton.
typical media personality. Always the one who knows the most. Focus on the radio and leave those that buy their printer ink by the barrel alone!

Those are not exclusive to the wing-t. I am referring to more of a single back or two back set with no motion from the tailback.
