Not worth the time to try and explain anything to folks that don't understand that to cheat you have to break a rule. Unfortunately ignorance of the rules plays a big part in how people think. Great season to NCS and Greenback.

Too superstitious to put a prediction out there. I have confidence in our boys just like GB has confidence in their boys. I know we have to establish our running game early and grind it out. If they give us the edge, then it's over. Feel good about the defense and how they attack the ball so don't think that we will give up too many points.

But what do I know, I was a Phil Fulmer fan.

Dooley was a result of Kiffin. Two that almost killed the program.

He already squats 600lbs. The boys took a video of him in the weight room. Not sure they posted it anywhere. That's a lot of weight.

Certainly would make for less driving. Average drive time this year was about 2 hrs.

Good looking bunch of Freshman and Sophomores. Undefeated in Middle School for two years straight. A good winter and summer in the weight room will put some beef on them and get them ready to fill the open spots. Crosby does a great job with the boys. When they walked on the field for the 7 on 7s this summer, they looked as good as the big schools.

Everyone will want the Big Orange in their bowl because we will draw the fan base. Middle just elected to go the Bahama Bowl.

My next door neighbor is a Michigan grad and I have to listen to that crap every weekend. Flags flying everywhere. He'll get an egging one of these days.

He works at it hard. Dedicated. He and a few others lift on their days off.

Would like nothing better for them to mash Michigan in the mouth. Although their new coach has them performing better than ever.

Only takes snaps in practice.

He loves his defense. Targeting being around 205-210 next year.

Ground hog day

The main fact here is that there are two teams that square off Friday morning. Each earned the right to be on that field. No matter what road they took, who they lost to earlier in the year has no bearing on this game. I know that we (NCS) have 15 seniors that will be playing their last game for NCS. Some will go on to play college ball, some not. GB also will have seniors playing their last game for their school. As long as they play to the best of their ability, there is no shame in the outcome of the game. What they will remember is the experience and the guys that they have worked along side for the last 12 months and in some cases since pee wee football. Maybe in ten years they can get on this blog and talk smack about the old days. Congrats to both teams for making it to the Dance in Cookeville.

It was a great game to watch. Both teams playing their hearts out till the final whistle. Your Team was a class act, your QB has a bright future in front of him.

To the best of my knowledge that is the case. Someone said it earlier, NCS is about half the cost of some of the other private schools in the area. BA ~ 22K, Ensworth ~25K, MBA ~ 25K, Good option compared to some of the metro city schools. Just as information, NCS is in Bellevue which is a small town outside of Nashville. Extremely strict on grades - no exceptions. Not restricted by public school choices to restrict prayer. It is encouraged. Does not pigeon hole athletes into only one sport, but encourages participation in all. I grew up in Smithville and can appreciate the small school atmosphere and wanted my son to have this same experience. BTW Carguy: Thought that your handle on here came from the coveralls you wear to every game.
