I wouldn't call it a rebuild year, we've still got some great skill carrying over, defense will have more holes to fill but the Defense we've had this season has been insane. We'll still have a couple nice wide outs (one being a key player that's missed a lot this season) we have a good qb and a stud in the backfield. Plus we have a really good coaching staff. We may not make it as deep next season but I still say we win our region and make it to at least Rd 2. And if that's a rebuild season then I'll take that anytime! BWTP

I was there for the cpa beat down on us but still think we had a great team them, but I believe this squad is a little more explosive #classof08

Ray Hampton Stadium gonna be rocking for 4 full quarters tomorrow night! Stands start clearing early 4th quarter usually, I think this game will be the one that will give people their money's worth! Scott's Hill better hope their O-line is better than what riverside brought last week, don't think our field can take much more qb burials!

I hope it is a good one. Both teams will give it their all this week and the victor will do the same next week. Personally I'm hoping it's really close for our sake. Waverly hasn't really had a close game besides the fairview game. Cheatham game tested us some but only the first half. I hope the Lions give us a run to the last second. I don't wanna see a running clock

Considering we scored them almost every offensive way possible last time, I think we have options. Coach just has to pick which one at the right times, which I got faith he will.

Sorry, took me a minute to comprehend. But the excuse is they didn't have their coach but yet their offense still couldn't put it in (no matter the yardage). It's gonna be a low scoring affair again. The players will be on a different page than the coach, he'll probably be more focused on the previous game more than any of the player's or Mitchell coaches will be

just giving my opinion on predictions man. Doing to predictions in one topic, what's that hurt? Just hope you finished reading the rest of my post because I did bring up the fact that Scott's Hill is dangerous. Adamsville was a feared opponent and i'm glad the hill took them down. But in my opinion if the coaches can keep the young Tigers straight, then they can easily win by 3 scores at least. its a danger going against a team that you shut out thought especially deep in playoffs because of course they'll assume they're not gonna be a challenge. I also believe that Mitchell is gonna pull the upset for the 2nd time and make it to the next round.

True, but I don't think there's much they can do against Waverly's Defense. I don't see us giving up more than 1 score the 2nd half. IMO the only option they have is to slow down Waverly's offense which is possible early in the game but I don't see them doing it the entire game, plus if they can't score on us then it won't matter.

after the 3rd quarter possibly. just worried we'll come out like we did against Cheatham. Close first half then coach will get to em and they'll get back to waverly football. We still have a lot of young guys and to play a team that they shut out a few weeks ago....They have to be extremely careful...remember Scott's Hill did just beat the only undefeated 2a team there was going into the post season. They're a great team, we can't give them any chances at all and can't slack at any spot.

The Tennessean has Waverly ranked as the #1 mid tn team 1a-3a. Too bad it's all West and hopefully an East we have to play next. I say Waverly comes out of this week with a 42-20 victory and will face the Tigers of Mitchell next. Haven't posted in about 8 years but I guess it's time to come back!! BWTP!!!
