The guy from Crockett is a good coach with a offensive mind. He probably will take the formula Bosken used to get Crockett turned around and going in the right direction. He's a guy who will put a ton of time into teaching the fundamentals, working hard in the weight room, getting kids out of the halls and on the field and raising money.

GS is their #1 choice if he wants it and TSSAA signs off on it. He's been at Crockett a few times recently and heard he's been going around to the middle schools talking to the kids so Idk

Very true about the assistant coaches he ran off cant keep,doing people that way. But he wasn't the only scrubbing the floors and cleaning the field house He had a good bit of help from the booster club and coaches and the kids. The kids cleaned it up everyday after practice and mopped like every other day. If GS isn't willing to put that extra work i then we are gonna be in trouble and he will have to fundraise unless he wants to come out of pocket to help buy those things. All that money they raised really wouldn't been able to do much in facilities upgrades. Its went to buying new uniforms and 7 on 7 hear new equipment to practice with and all new Weights racks and benches new lockers stuff like that. The TF system some part of the success at Crockett every coach learns their systems from someone and the football camp were great team bonding experiences where the kids for to compete against good comp from teams outside of the Tri Cities extra practice and reps while competing. The community needs to get together and raise funds up the 2 probably richest alumn Wolf and Eldridge should donate some money or Wolf could help get something built that's what he does.

Yea SH has def put kids in bigger schools that's for sure. A bunch of kids from Crockett signed but dont stick it out Luke Hopson the only 1000 yd WR in NET and Coy Vaughn sign with Marryville Colt Jenkins ETSU Andrew Kyker Bethal Chevy Miller sign with Cumberland but didn't go Ian Martin TSU Midkiff U of Cumberlands Dj Britton Brandon Rains Ryan Burger E&H Andreas TTU that don't include Eric Day who def could have played at some places. This year Crockett should have at least 3 or 4 sign this year and they got a ligit D1 guy who has 3 offer already and gaining a lot of interest from Power 5 schools. Idk if any of those guys are on full,rides but they signed with teams.

I feel like Bosken would have left anyways even if we had nicer facilities. The coaching staff is def something that needs to be focused on its hard to be successful without good assistants. In his time there he ran off about 10 coaches or more and probably couldn't get and faculty assistants because no one probably wanted to deal with that. But Crockett has to do a better job of opening up spots to where they can get more faculty assistants

I feel ya but you gotta think of the talent level he's had to work with. When he's had a talented group like Sky Hicks group Camron Jarrett Kevin Connell they had pretty good years. Boone seems to always have good lineman and a few skill players and it's the opposite at Crockett. I just love how his team's are always physical and never back down from a team.

SSHS yea that def another plus about him he makes sure if the kid wants to play at the next level he's gonna work his butt off to find some where they have the opportunity to do that. The only negative he's not the best people person. In his time he's had 13 kids sign at the next level. His time at SH he helped some kids get to the next level.

BlueDevil who's your team you pull for jw? Bosken will def be a tough act to follow he did so much more for Crockett than just coach football. He help bring pride excitement and a winning mentality to the football team school and community. Worked hard to raised unreal amount of money to get new uniforms improve the weight room field house and new equipment. We need to hire someone who's willing to work that hard on the the Xs and Os and on the program it's self and stay at DC for more than jus 3 or 4 years. Its def hard to run a 5A program with very few assistants but A lot of that's on him he ran A lot of coaches off I think whoever they get will bring a few with him hopefully. The discipline incidents didn't happen because of not having enough staff member you can't have a coach in every room babysitting. It only takes a few kids to make dumb decisions to ruin it for everyone.

Yea it's not but I think it's very possible I mean look at the Conference now no clearly dominate team since Mo West is gone unless Mo East go back to what they were in the mid 00s. Why do you think Boone will be middle of the pack? I think Jenkins does one the best jobs around here getting the most out of his talent and they won't back down from anyone I like that

Blazer the next level to me is compete for the Conference Championship year in year out at least getting to the 2nd round year in year out that would be next level to me. What do you think would be next level for Crockett?

I've heard they have at least 30 applicants for the job so it will be fun to,see who they can get. I hope and pray it's someone good who can take Crockett to that next level.

Bosken runs a fast pace no huddle spread at Crockett it's the Tony Franklin system. He's probably gonna do a lot of the passing game. Good addition especially as a assistant where he can just focus on I e thing.

Jeremy Bosken of Crockett resigned today to become the OC at Cleveland. Hopefully they can get someone in there that can build on what he's started

Thinker I hope the are very hungry and taking the prep for this game serious wanting to get a W. Yea that would be great if we ever got to witness a Musket Bowl 2.0 just think about that atmosphere. Yea I like Presnall Turner Cole and Shelton alot. Yea Barnett is probably the best 150 pound MLB I've ever saw it's his 1st year playing hs football. Kollie is having a heck of a year for a Sophomore kids gonna just keep getting better. Lewis is a baller I'd like to see him get to the qb more coached all 3 in Jr Pioneers. Love Delapp and Eib at safety. Crockett offense has to show up and need TK to have a huge game

Yea I live to see the non traditional powers win a region I know Gibbs had been down for awhile kinda remind me of Crockett a little. I bet the whole town will be shut down for this game hey never know Kenny might really pop up. So they got a nice staduim and what do they run on D? I think Crockett has a shot in this one.

yea he made alot of big plays great hands not the best speed but will catch almost anything you throw his way that was our starting QB before the Freshman transfered in. I think Boone will knock Halls off.

Yea sucks to see it go back to the dark side of the county lol. Heck of a battle tonight Crockett killed themselves getting 3 instead of 7 in the red zone and the fumble on the 15 going in really hurt. Charlie Cole is a stud knew he was going to be when I coached against him last year in middle school ball.

Yea over here counting the hours down!!! Boone has 3 O Linemen getting looks colleges I'm sure Shelton and Cole are getting some too. Crockett Lewis is getting alot of looks with 3 D1 offers so far as a junior and a couple more from Crockett getting smaller school looks. TN Gridiron Scouting will be on hand the Musket Bowl is there game of the week they do alot to get kids in East Tennessee recruited.
